Unavailability of general & tatkal tickets

Hi,‚Äč

This is Regarding unavailability of general & tatkal tickets for a normal users. There are more than 15 trains for Patna from Delhi everyday, but there is no ticket for most of time (95-98%) for us whether it is a case of booking a normal ticket or tatkal ticket. This complaint is not only the against of unavailability of tickets only, infact this is regarding the high level of corruption in this system(No idea where is it actually, it is in IRCTC).If there is no ticket available for us then how could agents offer us to give the same ticket by charging 1000-1500 rs more than the ticket pricing?Before IRCTC site gets opened for booking of a tatkal tickets for a normal users like us at sharp 10 oclock, it shows every ticket in waiting lists. It happens every time.Do you think we should pay the amount more than 3000rs per person for a 3AC Ticket in magadh express (from delhi to patna) while tatkal ticket price is just 1650RS. Who is going to stop this?How we will get tickets in this case?There is no use of tatkal tickets then, it is better to give all the tickets to agents only so that they can sell in in a big difference amount & can earn millions from it.

I have sent one complaint the date of journey may be corrected as 15-10-2014 instead of 25-10-2014 .further some body phoned and asking for the account no.and card no.over phone which forbidden as per RBI guidelines the amount is paid back in to my account try which I paid the fare thanking you SPLNarasimham

refund for ticket journey not performed

I am a senior citizen and reserved my ticket from Visakhapatnam to secunderabad by train 12739 on 25-10-2014vide pnr no64334422747 due to uncertainity of trains I have cancelled my journey and ntot cancel my ticket as no power and telelink hence I request you to refund. Amount debited not refunded

I had complained about this yesterday regarding my amount being debited and ticket not sent has I booked at 12:45am for travel between Chennai and Coimbatore in E,C. class Shabathi express on 6th October. Till now I have not heard nor received the amount. kindly do the needful.

Amount not Refunded

I had booked a ticket from Chennai to Coimbatore on 6th early morning for travel the same day, but transaction did not happen whereas my amount got debited in my Citi bank credit card. I called 139 they said amount will be credited in five working days has I booked at 12:45 am.

No information sent to me about diverting the route of the train

Hello,

I booked a ticket with Transaction ID - 100000089476225 from BBS to YPR on 02863/HWH YPR PREMIUM express for 13/10/2014.

My boarding station was Bhubaneswar but train got diverted from Howrah to Vizaywada Junction directly without touching my Bhubaneswar due to the destruction caused in the Vishakhapatnam route because of Cyclone Hudhud .

I was not made aware by SMS or Mail about the diversion for which I could not file a TDR within 2 hrs as per your rules.

I called railway inquiry 139 repeatedly but could not get sufficient information about cancellation procedure, but when i spoke to their supervisor , he said i should contact IRCTC personnel as it is a online ticket.

After calling the IRCTC people , they are saying that it cannot be refunded as the stipulated time of 2 hrs has crossed.

From last 1 day i have been calling 139 railway inquiry but neither i got proper information about the train schedule with diversion nor about the cancellation procedure of the premium train tickets.

For this reason i have to bear the loss of my work commitments and mental tension.

I want my money to be refunded at least and at the earliest.

Change of reason for TDR filled

Hello IRCTC team,
I had booked a ticket pnr no: 6434509829 from bhubaneswar(BBS) to krishnarajapuram(KJM) for 14 october 2014, train : 15228/MFP YPR EXP. As the train was diverted from KHARAGPUR JUNCTION (KGP) , I was unable to travel. I booked a TDR with referance id:100000016684191. But the reason i provided was "train cancelled", I want to update the reason to "Train diverted and train not touching boarding station". Please help me with it to get the refund.

Ticket not bokked though amount is deducted form my account

Today,13/10/14, I have tried to book 4 ticket through my IRCTC Account. Though the amount was deducted from Bank account but booking of ticket was failed as shown in failed transaction record. Bank sent msg to mobile which is read as follows :

"Thank you for using your SBI Debit card...... for purchase worth Rs 862 on POSSBIRCTC at IRCTC txn 42864141525". Rest detail I have given below:
Transaction id of IRCTC 100000096858253. Train No 15603, From Guwahati to Furkuting , Booking date 13/10/14, Journey date 18/10/14

MY TICKET DID NOT GOT BOOKED BUT STILL MY MOENEY WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT

TODAY AT 9:55 AM (13-10-2014) I TRIED TO BOOK A TICKET FROM HOWRAH TO MYSORE AND GONE THROUGH ALL THE FORMALITIES ENTERED ALL MY BANK CARD DETAILS CORRECTLY WHEN I PRESSED FINAL PAYMENT OPTION WHICH SAYS "PAY" THEN THE WINDOWS WENT TO THE HOME PAGE AND MY BALANCE GOT DEDUCTED FROM MY BANK GOT MASSAGE THAT YOU BALANCE HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FOR BOOKING A TICKET BY IRCTC THANK YOU FOR USING ONLINE BANKING. BUT IN MY BOOKING HISTORY I DID NOT GOT ANY TICKET GOT BOOKED.. SO IT IS MY REQUEST TO THE CONCERN PERSON OR AUTHORITY TO KINDLY SOLVE IT .. AND HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK OR PRINT OF MY TICKET.
