AC Not working within 3 weeks of purchase - pathetic after sales service

I had purchased a LG 1.5T split AC from Sales Emporium, Ultadanga Main Rd Branch on 22/05/12 for my mother in law Dipali Ghosh.

The AC stopped functioning on 10/06/12 & we lodged a complaint on 11/06/12 bearing # 120611045019. On the same day another complaint # was provided to us bearing # 120611065667. In both the cases I was told that the service engineers will be contacting us in next 2 hours & the work will be attended in next 24 hours. On 13/06/12 another complaint # was provided as 120613037179. No one attended the complaint in spite of us following up with them. Finally they visited us on 14/06/12 evening after repeated follow ups. They were unable to detect the problem & the service engineer revisited us on 15/06/12 & detected the problem related to the compressor. We have asked for replacement of the machine since this is within 3 weeks of us purchasing the same.The quality of service is extremely deplorable.

Pathetic Customer care

Hi!

My case is similar to the complaints listed above as Worst customer care service by LG.
I lodged the Complaint with LG Customer Care on 3rd April with Complaint ID : RNA120403023070

My Window AC was picked on 13th April 2011 after making so many calls to customer care

I was given a commitment that the AC would be repaired and returned within a week, after that every time I speak to customer care that issue would be resolved within 24 hours.
On Tuesday 19th April the commitment was given for the same day.

When I called LG customer Care for escalation number I was given the number of Mrs Pooja, whose number was continuously busy and later in the day switched off.
ASM Mr. Rahul to whom when I called I was getting call waiting and sometimes the cell was ringing, however again no one was there on the other side to speak to.

There is no one to take the responsibility, ownership and accountability. There is no one to whom we can escalate.

The Service center numbers are 99% of times busy and they dont even have the Courtesy to call the customer and inform about the Delay.

LG After sales service is simply pathetic.

I would like someone to please take some action on them.

AC picked for service not returned

I lodge the request for my window ac service on 28th of March. Concerned person came the next day and said there is a gas leak and needs refilling and then after 2 days person came at my place to fill the gas, but then they said the will take the AC to workshop for filling and then for another 3 days no one turned up, i kept calling customer care and they assured someone will come, but no one came and then i was given the number of a person name not known, said SMS me the address and i will have it pick up tomorrow. Person came to pick up the AC next day (April 4th), but they did tell when they will return, and gave another number to ask for this, i kept calling that number for 2 days and no answer was there and then on third day the person picked up the phone and told it will return to u tomorrow that is 6th of April (Concerned person name Ankur) but nobody turned up then on 7th of April i kept calling and no answer and finally after 3 hours of trying i finally got hold of Ankur and he told me that it will be returned to u on 8th of April, but no gaurantee for that.

LG should change its name to LH (Life's Hell with our products)

Pathetic products, pathetic service, pathetic people.

AC Not Functioning

Hi ,
I 'm a distressed , bereaved customer of LG .I have a window type AC that I've trying to get repaired by the authorised service center at Noida Sector 10. The people who came to address the problem were absolutely incompetent , inept and useless and left saying that theres a problem with the pcb and they'll come fix it whenever they get the part. It's been almost a month now and theres no sign of these people
The helpdesk proved equally useless, they gave nos of the CCO (Ms Lohia) who never picks up the phone.

WORST After Sales Service

Hi!

I lodged the Complaint with LG Customer Care on 27th April with Complaint ID : RNA1104270​02661.

My Window AC was picked on 29th April 2011.

I was given a commitment that on Sunday 1st May 2011, the AC would be repiared and returned.
