i have recharged through mobiwik.com for Rs.990 for the smartcard number 41043960727.. transaction is successful but still its not activated.. very poor service of customer care also.. refund the money or activate it..

worst customer care

sun direct customer care is a paid service but the service providing them is worst and they are using cheap tactics to get money from customers.i have called two times each time they have been kept waiting me for more than 12 mins but they didn't connect to customer care person,not only this their employers also delaying when providing information. its really frustrating for the customers when they are paying money for the service.please close your customer care.

Poor Response by Customer Care

Sun Direct has the worst Customer care... No one picks up the call... they keep saying " you expected wait time is 2 min 1 sec" for more than 10 mins. the same dialouge with no change even after 10 mins of holding..... the worst DTH/ Set up Box connection... Dont ever choose it... The Marans are just cheating people with out giving proper service... they don have enough customer service staff nor any proper standards set to ensure porper and smooth customer care operations.... SUN Direct sucks...

Changing the frequency of DD national

Sun Direct tuned the DD national frequency during IND Vs SL cricket match(July- August, 2012) in order to make Sun direct customers avail their add-on pack for Ten cricket. There is no broadcasting of Cricket match on DD national because they tuned the frequency to DD national in which there is no broadcasting and only broadcast of dd programs. This is an indirect scam....

Transaction Success but recharge failed

I have recharged my Sundirect No. 41047613082 with Rs.133. through paytm orderNo.16152123. The transaction is success. But there is no recharge in the bill status of Sun direct Dth

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have made an online transaction to recharge my Sun direct account (ID: 41234125163) for Rs. 655 in times for 1 year subscription. The transaction reference no. is 0012108023.

Due sat-lite problem service not coming good for entire sun direct customers; then sun direct informed that you have to inform to customer care. Based on their information I was booked complaint on 11th Nov 2010 (C.No-1-1076601693), then was calling frequently and asking service. I was not getting any information. I was asking for call back from for answer, and complaint numbers are 1-1272166019 (3rd Dec 2010), 1-1832216922 (7th Dec 2010), 1-150619384, 1-1076601692, 1-3148827213 (23rd Jun2011) & 1-3197054211 (27th Jun 2011). There is no response from sun direct. Then I went to sun direct dealt and told the problem and they did re-a lineament on 22nd Mar 2011, due to no service for 4month I was called for validity extension (C.No:1-2314042023, dt 23.03.2011). as per one year recharge my service was stopped on 27th Jun 2011. I am calling to sun direct customer care there is no response, they are telling validity will be extended.

I was sent a mail also to their contact email, no response for that also.

Please help me how proceed further.

This is heads up for all who would like to purchase SUN Direct. DON'T BUY SUN DIRECT DTH service. I have never seen such a worst service. I logged a complaint for bad reception for few channels and no action was taken from their side to rectify the issue. Every time I call customer care, they tell me to reinsert the Line-In cable and perform and manual scan. None of these options resolve the issue though. Iam fed up calling them and have decided to change my DTH service provider. They will never send their Technicians to your house to rectify the problem. Total waste of money

No response for Dish adjustment


I paid 1850 to recharge Sun Direct last September. The local distributor told he will recharge but had put the money in his pocket. Then I called Sun Direct n-number of times and lodged a complaint against the dealer and then the dealer recharged my Sun Direct account after two months.

By this I didnt see TV for two months. Then things were fine for two more months. Then again came the head ache. They have changed the satellite from where Sunb DTH is being broadcasted and it needs re-alignment of DTH antenna. No one turned up fot that and I am left without any TV channels to see again for two months since. I have raised 4 complaints till now in the call centre and they say they will come and rectify it but no one would turn up.

The next time if I call quoting it they will lodge a new complaint rather than re-opening the old one. This is happening for two months.

Now they gave some dealers contact number who is charging us 200 as service charge to re-align. why should I pay 200 extra for these people for them to change satellite despite paying 1850 as annual subscription. and after looking into the set top box he says some problem with the box and is charging 150 again extra for servicing it. Man .. I am done with my patience. But still nothing can be done we paid this 350 and are waiting for the Set Top Box to arrive.

Cheated and need to treat my Money as write off

I am totally fed up and I am not sure how still people are trusting Sun direct as a good DTH provider. I can understand that there are some issues in Satellite but sundirect technicians are not bothered about rectifying the problems. I contacted customer care several times and the only reason I used to get is " Your compliant is registered and our techinician will contact you very soon". I am not sure how long will it take. As a customer I cannot wait for 2 months to get a call from technicians. there is no response to whatever i say or whatever I paid as Service Charges. I am one of the person in our Office who recommended Sun direct to everyone and but I am totally disappointed on how come i recommended such a cheap service to everyone. In simple terms, "I lost my subcription charges and I am cheated by Sun Direct"

Worst service

I am having the same kind of BAD Experience.

SUN's Cutomer CARE Department (011-39407575) is not doing their services well, please close that department.

My DTH is not working since last 3 months and no one is taking care. I called up Customer Care 011-39407575. I talked to Divya and then her Senior Divyanjali but both of them were unable to resolve my query that in how many days my DTH Services will started working. SUN DTH Customer Care Services are super BAD and I would say pathetic. The CUSTOMER Service people are good for nothing. First of all their number remains continuously busy and if you are lucky, get a chance to speak with some one then they can't give you any satisfactory answer. I am completely fed up from DTH Services, specially with CUSTOMER CARE People and want to disconnect the SUN DTH. Please let me know the procedure of enabling my DTH Services or disconnection procedure.

Worst service

Pl. read the complaint I have sent to the sundirect:

Many channels including Sun Music, Kalaignar TV, Jayaplus, RajTV and paid channels like Star Movies are not available for the past (nearly) two months. On 23-10-10, I rang to local dealer in 9361008883 they demanded Rs100 to adjust the dish.When I told about your ads that the service is free, They asked to dial to 0451-3200556. I did so and Iam told that the technician will come in 4 days. Then I have sent U e-mails on 5th Nov.and so on.Also spoke to Ur customer care in 04439407575 many times. Till this date nobody came despite repeated request thro' phone, and I am unable to watch the channels for which I am paying that too in this festive times. Am I not ashamed of your service.What if U charge for some channels and not providing any service to witness them. If U try to upgrade and the dish has to be readjusted means, arrange for automatic readjustment of the dish without seeking for requisition from the customer. I am not happy that it is not complied with even if it is requested repeatedly. Iam much annoyed by this so called service.
I received email asking me to tell my smart card num. Wont U see it is given in every correspondence at the top. Ur attendents do not know the diff between the smartcard num and contact num.
Your service attendence is worst. Further I would like U to send some special technician to see how worst the dish has been installed. The installation is intact. If it is not rectified soon I will publish the photo of Ur worst installation in the web.Whatever may be, cant you ensure uninterrupted provision of service ?
Whether I have choosen and paid for to suffer with Your faulty and interrupted service that too in a weekend. I repent.
If such inconvenience persists further I will be constraint to caution others about this worst service in the interest of others welfare atleast. Sorry.

Dear Friends ,

I have purchase Sun Direct 10 months before. But from last two month my experince is very very bad. They are displaying in there channels that they are shifting to new Satelight and they will be sending Service person to for adjust the Dish.

Even after paying amount i am not able to view channels . and i have call more then 25 time to the customer care service but no response. Every time they give new date and give a customer service no . but, they not at all giving any response .............

Pls do not buy Sun Direct it 100 % waste Company. They can spend crores of rupees for add and movies ... but they will not spend for Service to the customer,.
