I had opened a PPF account bearing A/c No. 203303 from 804 FPO Care HQ 14 BRTF (GREF), C/o 99 APO (Arunachal Pradesh) on 02 Aug 2012 and transferred the same to 1677 FPO Care HQ 38 BRTF (GREF), C/o 56 APO at Manali, Now 1677 FPO has since been closed. I want to foreclose my said PPF A/c as I was intimated at the time of opening the account, it can be foreclosed after 05 years but staff of 1677 FPO intimated that account can't be close before 15 years/maturity. Please inform whether my said PPF account can be closed before 15 years.

If, it can not be closed before 15 Years than how can I withdraw part payment from PPF Account and how much. The withdrawal amount is required to be deposited or not. Please advise me earliest as I am in urgent need of fund for some urgent work.
