HIGH PING POOR SERVICE

i've been experiencing ping problems ever since i crossed my FUP. this hasn't happened before. whenever i used to cross my FUP i used to get ping around 1-10 but now my ping is 450-570.i've been complaining to the customer care about my issue and they haven't looked into it. i tell them what my problem is but they don't understand it. they keep telling they'll send a guy over to my house but they don't. they give me a period of 12 hours withing which the technical team would be coming and wow. it's been 2 days since. nice customer service btw. i seriously hope that you solve the issue asap else i'll be considering moving on to another service provider soon. i took up ACT cause of it's good customer service and now i get this. im seriously disappointed

No Service, No Refund. Local Cable Operator issue

Dear Team,

I took a 6-month ACT internet connection during end of June by paying Rs7238/- with account ############. This was along with free installation and free router. I also allowed ACT main Box to be installed on my house.

Your service, speed, customer care, resolution is just amazing. But just after 3 months from 28th Sep, internet connection suddenly just stopped. I understood from customer care team that the service is stopped in my location due to local cable operator issue; while ACT is processing legally and they don't have a firm date on when the service can be provided back to normal.

Since you are unable to provide me continued service, I have raised request for de-activation and to refund of the pending amount in full. Meanwhile, upon consent with your customer care executives, I had taken alternative connection for few months. Once the problem is resolved at your end, I can avail your services again; until then I will continue with the alternative.

Your refund team later contacted me asking for bank details to process refund. They told me only Rs.1428 will be refunded to me, while Rs.1499 was charged for router (supposed to be free) and Rs.499 was charged for installation fee (supposed to be free). I was surprised to listen this. This type of deduction was okay if customer had voluntarily asked for disconnection. However in this case ACT has stopped providing me service! So why should I bare all these charges?

Kindly consider that issue for this disconnections is because ACT is not able to provide me service and not due to problems at my end. Accordingly you should not be charging me for router / installation / admin charges. Request you to not to treat this as general customer request for disconnection. Please deduct only internet usage and refund remaining amount.

My internet usage till now is Rs. 3771
(June: Rs.153 + July: Rs.1206 + Aug: Rs.1206 + Sep: Rs.1206)

I paid you Rs.7238. If Rs. 3771 is deducted, you need to refund me Rs.3557.

I request you to take the router and refund me Rs.3557. I had already shared bank details, please transfer the funds immediately.

bad service

I called many times for FUP reset . They wasted my time by giving false promises , My account details are also not completely updated . The customer care people are well trained for giving excuses . I am thinking of other alternative service providers .

connection problem

i got the connection yesterday evening and i got a msg with i'd and password and said connection is activated but i cannot access net the people who came to keep connection said they are doing some work about it and said they will call me and inform me when it is over till now its not working

Connection down

Internet has been down from the afternoon. Spoke to your person and requested resolution but he asked to lodge a formal complaint post which only he will come and the other aspect is he had been dedicated to any issues in our apartment community! Never had this bad an experience. Act tortures me by sending payment remainders daily from the first of the month alright the dues dates are 15 th and the sms come in the middle of the night as well.

Not returning my complete amount

Hello,

I took a 6-month ACT internet connection by paying Rs7240/- with account ############. I also allowed ACT main Box to be installed on my house.
But just after two and half months, local cable operator issue started. It didn’t get resolved even after 15 days.
I finally had to disconnect my ACT connection.
Then I waited for 15 days thinking somebody from ACT is going to call me regarding the amount they need to return to me. But no, they never called. Then I called them and got to know that I only have to raise refund request. I don’t understand why. I have raised the Disconnect request and I also had mentioned that I need the details of the amount you guys will be returning to me. But No, you guys were waiting for me to raise another request for refund.

Anyway, I raised another request and 100 times I mentioned that you guys call me before transferring the amount because I want to know how much I get and if the calculation was correct.
No, I didn’t get any call. Instead. yesterday, I got 1188/- rupees from you guys in my bank account.

So, I paid 7240 rupees for 6 months, used it only for two and half months, and you guys return just 1188 rupees.
And, you guys also used my house to place your ACT box and give connection to others.

Why you guys cheat the customers, do you think customer paid the money in advance and he can't do anything now.
You guys are WORST in handling customers. I raised local cable operator issue with you guys and requested to update me on the status at least once in two day. But no, I never got the call, I only called every day to know the status. You simply don’t respond either to refund requests or to any internet disconnection issue.

Installation and Activation

Hello

What a service you all should be give negative rating. Whenever you need money you will trouble the customer anytime would come to the customer's place anytime though it be 12 midnight please pay the money advance installation all those crap. But just after taking the money from the customer neither your sales representative calls you up nor the activation guy. They say they cant come after 6 pm. I have been waiting for installation for almost 7 days now and your sales representative is so unprofessional he says he will call back after 10 mins and I suppose that 10 mins for him is like one full day or either your sales person is in Mars. We never get a call. I have to do a follow up and then also he doesnt repond. Also I need an answer when will the installation be done. this is heights of testing the Patience of the Customer.

Bad service ever _ACT SUCKS

I shifted my house within 2KM in Bangalore and these Act guys told me they can shift within 7days... After the availability check only they will collect my document... but once they checked availability I didn't get any response. After calling for 3 days 5 times a day I got only response as we will update our team to collect documents from those customer care persons... Once I put a disconnection request they thought of collecting my document . For collecting document they want me to go to my new address for which I left my work at the middle and left from office by 5(Where as for new connection they came to my office to collect the papers and shifting and new connection is equally same price.).. As expected they didn't come that day.. Again I called to customer care then in the next morning I got a call from the person by 11 as he wants to collect the paper(As if I don't have any work so I should take leave and sit at home to handover the papers). After I explained that I can't come he gave his mail id (they could have done this from day one without any drama) . After emailing the papers still no response...

ONE of the customer care executive even told me I can get the connection next week only as this is going to be a holiday week.

I raised the request on 20th and still I haven't user the internet but I paid full at the starting of the month..If they are giving connection me next week then before connection they will generate my bill including 500 transfer charge.. It is unfair with customer.

ACT IS VERY GOOD AT TORTURING THE CUSTOMERS. AFTER PAYING 500 SHOULD I GET THIS MUCH PAIN... M STILL CALLING THEM 5times A DAY AS INTERNET I CAN"T DO MY WORK AND MEETINGS

If you guys can't give service then let me disconnect your connection...

ACT Fibernet - Internet NOT working 3 days and counting

I am unable to access internet since the last 3 days(since 23rd October 2016 evening) and having raised ticket # 10123987488 for it still no resolution has been provided. The ticket was closed yesterday but when I called the customer care regarding it I was told that the ticket was closed by "mistake"/"wrongly". Till date no technician has contacted me with any kind of details regarding the issue and why it has take so much time to fix it. This is really impacting my work but no one at ACT seems to care about it. Thinking of shifting to some other internet service provider along with multiple subscribers from my locality who keep facing the same issues again and again.
