Very Poor response to complaints

I had raised a call to downgrade my internet package from 40mbps to 10 mbps on 29th Sep. Nothing was done but the call was promptly closed. And oh, they never check if a problem is solved before closing tickets. Conveniently they cannot re-open any closed ticket. So they just keep opening new ones to add to the excitement, and make it impossible to track the problem.

After the call was closed i sent an SMS to their escalations team, who never respond. In general they never respond to SMS escalations. After repeated calls, another ticket was raised for the same issue on Oct 2nd. My guess is that this ticket will be closed as well, without doing anything. This is their standard-operating-procedure.

I've been forced to close their bundled Cable-TV account due to complete lack to response, and their use of their standard-operating-procedure to stonewall any complaints as described above. They want your money, but they don't care to fix issues. And this is not even a issue, it's just a routine downgrade.

Internet frequently gets disconnected

I am frequently facing problems with internet connection..The connection is never stable...Worst internet service by ACT Internet. 10 Mbps is what they are advertising... Actual speed which I am getting is below 5 Mbps

Stops working every weekend.Most unprofessional ISP.

I have been using ACT fibernet(formally beam telecom) in Hyderabad for over 5 years now. In 5 years of usage I have never been happy with their uptime. I have experienced frequent downtime(once or twice a month) throughout this period. The situation is so bad now, that internet stops working every weekend. Customer care promises resolution within 24 hours, but last time no one attempted to fix them problem. The problem resolved itself after 2 days, but come weekend, today again internet stopped for working.
The backend staff that comes to fix problems is also rude and unskilled. They at best fix problems temporarily and no efforts are made to address the root cause.
This is the most unprofessional internet service ever and I would recommend everyone to prefer other alternatives even if they offer lesser speeds.

shifting delayed

I was holding an account for about almost one and half year never I had issues and they've always responded to our queries promptly. Recently, we shifted our residence just 3 lanes away. A person by the name Mr. Murali told we will be getting the connection within 24 hrs and promised that he has reserved a port for the connection. I payed the fees on July 30th 2015 and till today we don't have connection despite clearing all the bills and payed the shifting charges,

As always they collected money in time and after 4 days they came; connected the cable without the connection ,the technician simply said it will be activated within 24 hrs. The day never came I kept calling several times, despite raising futile multiple tickets.

We almost waited for about 20 days. Lost our patience and asked for reimbursement which is also on hold right from the first ticket they raised. If Murali wouldn't have misguided about the connection, I'd have waited. It's because of the utter negligence and hectic inconvenience caused us to withdrew our plan to upgrade connection with BEAM/ACT and restricting us to refer others.

Pathetic support! Stupid executives

Act support staff is nothing but retarded! Firstly, if your internet is not working, their turn around time is 24 hours!?!?! Really??? Their customer support people have by-hearted (batti marofied) this one sentence "Your query will be resolved in 24 hours" You tell them anything, their response will be the same and before 24 hours issue will NOT be resolved. If you are working from home, please don't rely on these folks!

Bottom line

If you are using internet for crucial work, don't rely on Act/ Beam! You would definitely regret!

Connection not established with ACT Fibernet

I have been used ACT fibernet in Bangalore and that's why I select them for same service in Hyderabad. I have applied for 20mbps home connection and paid Rs.3500/- (One month advance, Router, Installation) on 04/06/2015. The sales executive Anil (7660006488) collected all documents and payment and he told that service will be connected in 24 Hours. But on 06/06/15 evening I got call from service executive (7032961537) and he said he will be coming in 30 minutes and till now (07/06/15) he didn't reached here.

I have called him thousands of times, every time he is telling different times and not yet reached. I am requesting ACT team to appoint someone who will speak English other than the regional language. Also I requesting to cancel and refund my payment (Bill No: 435174)

Sale reversal

I have paid for 1 year Act fibernet connection to my office at Road no-10,Banjarahills,Hyderabad---'Claws& Paws Pet clinic'' on 12-03-2015.They promised me connection within 24 hours and as advised by them i have purchased Router from their executive Althaf(9553339928).As there is no progress in the matter i went to office at yerramangil and asked them for speedy solution.On 18-03-2015 i received text message from ACt that connection is not possible as Box in the area is full. I went to main office in Road no-10 was told that i will be receiving refund through cheque.
when i called call center they issued ticket 16222401 repeatedly with no resolution to issue.

I request ACT fibernet to refund Rs 9003 (Rs7303 plus router 1700).

Poor technician supports

Really poor service provided by ACT technicians!!

On day 1 a complaint was lodged through the helpline no. 04066272727. Service request taken but no reply from the local executive. Next day neither the network issue resolved. Despite this we again registered the complaint using helpline - not once but twice as there was still no call from the executive.
The next day evening the executive arrives at the location of issue but disappears with a promise of returning soon. With no sight of the executive and network issue still persisting , finally on day 4 we followed up with support centre multiple times wherein we were promised that by the next hour we shall be receiving the executive call.Still no damn thing happened. It was only by the evening by some miracle the network appears back again.

This has not been the first time with such poor customer service/technician support of ACT cables. There are multiple times the network has been going down either due to current issue or some box issue or some xyz problem. Having a faith in your name I had taken up a 6 months sub. Now 2 months into it I have faced these many issues.Over all this I must have burnt almost a month's equivalent fees for my phone bills itself(500/-) talking to your helpline.
If this continues, I would never recommend another household to take up an ACT connection. It totally brings down your credibility of largest Network distributors in Hyderabad.
