Network not coming after over 8 days submitting the documents

Hi,

Issue Regarding number: 9004641189, network still not coming.

I have switched from Postpaid to prepaid on 18th Nov 2017 (Saturday) by submitting the required document in Airtel store which is available in Ramamurthy Nagar, Bangalore.

​On 21​st Nov 3027 (Tuesday) my post paid number was deatcivated, but my prepaid number (new sim) is not activated yet. It's almost 8 days gone. I don't know how many days it will take to activate.
So due to this, i visited again the same airtel store on the same day(21st NOV) because they said it should be activated with in 4 hrs.

​They have changed the SIM (given new SIM) and also taken the ID proof again and said it will take again 4 hr to coming the network but it wasn't happens(not came the network signals). Again I visited next day (22nd), they said we are rectifying the issue it will be activated the same day EOD. But again it wasn't happens.

​From 21st onward i am roaming like anything around same Airtel store everyday, but still the problem was not rectified.

​I don't know what is the issue to coming the network after the sim is activated.​

​In every visit they(Airtel Store) are saying it's already activated but don't know why the signals are not coming. ​

​Note: From 8 days onwards my all transactions was stopped, as this is my primary number.
So I am planning to put the case on Airtel regarding this issue., because officially they are saying it should be taken only 4 hrs, but it is taking 8 days and still the issue isn't rectified.

Non-activation of SIM even after 20 days even after address verification

SHOW CAUSE NOTICE
(For Non-activation of SIM even after 20 days & even after address verification & confirmation be Airtel Executive)

With reference to the above complaint for non-activation of my new SIM obtained from Airtel outlet, Nandi Durga Road, Bangalore, after a lot of delay, a lot of mental agony and complaining to Airtel and visiting the airtel outlet at Malleswaram and after repeatedly speaking to Mr. Vinod, Airtel Manager, Basavanagudi (who is looking after Malleswaram), it is to inform you that a verifier from airtel has verified my address on 18th Nov 2017 at 10.50 am, obtained my signature and took a copy of my Aadhar card too. At the same time, I received a phone call and the caller identified herself as Airtel executive and I confirmed to her that the verification was over just then. The verifier told me that within a couple of hours, my number would get activated. The Airtel Executive also confirmed me the same. She, in fact, while discussing with me during her first call, put me on hold for a few minutes to discuss another issue with her colleague, which is not correct on her part.

It is regretted that my number has still not been activated even after 56 hours after verification?

Why is Airtel repeatedly insulting me and causing mental agony to me?

I’ve taken the SIM more than 20 days ago.

AIRTEL HAS COMMITTED TWO ACTS OF DEFICIENCY OF SERVICE:
1. DELAYED VERIFICATION OF ADDRESS FOR MORE THAN 20 DAYS;
2. NON-ACTIVATION OF SIM CARD EVEN AFTER 56 HOURS AFTER VERIFICATION OF THE ADDRESS.

I’ve paid the initial deposit while obtaining the SIM. This is clear and repeated deficiency of service on the part of Airtel after I paid the deposit to Airtel.
I intend to file a case for deficiency of service and mental agony suffered by me in Hon’ble Consumer Court.
Please show the reasons for repeated deficiency of service.
Please treat this as a SHOW CAUSE NOTICE under the relevant provisions of Consumer Protection Act.

I reserve the right to quote this additional complaint in"Complaint Board" also in my proceeding before the Hon’ble Court.

porting cancellation and amount paid for nothing

No costumer service
I had applied for porting from Vodafone to Airtel on3-11-17
Some person off Airtel called me on 10-11-17 and asked me to pay due amount as it was delayed by Airtel also I paid dat amount and nw at 20-11-17 they are calling me and telling ur port s cancelled
What a useless network
Pleas take action on this complaint

Incorrect Data Usage

PFB complaint raised with Airtel team.
I have all the messages sent by airtel on my unused data carried forward. As per 26th Sept'17 I had 46.19GB unused data carried forwards to Oct'17(next billing cycle) and adding to that 27 for Oct'17 month data. Total data in my account suppose to be 73.19 GB.

However on 16th my data shows 33.2GB for which i have already shared screen shot. basically 39.99 data was taken back stating i have used the data.

Now your saying it is due to app issue, if app was wrong then what about message received?

Hope you understood the query now clearly.

Unable connect or do call

Hi I am using airtel number 199 post paid plan . Since morning I am unable to pick calls if I pick call within 3 sec it's getting disconnected . I am dialling and call getting end before listening dial ring..

Network

What once was a best service provider is now the worst of all or maybe it was always worst but, I didn't recognise it.
Am located in the centre of the city n my 4G network speed is 300-400Kbs, moreover FLUCTUATIONS!!!
I see the data running in 3G mode more than in 4G.

WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT
I don't think it's fair enough to pay for such a disgusting service, it's damn worthless.
It's better if they close the business so that people will stop wasting their money on this useless service provider n can move on to a better network.

Telecom Postpaid overcharged for 3 years

Hi,

I hold two postpaid account in Airtel 9886956569 & 9980620066.
1. i have approached Airtel store in JP Nagar 24th Main before a month. But as on date the address has been changed. When i tried calling 121 unable to reach a person.
2. I happen to check my bill after making the payment. And found i have been added with two internet services. Rs.100 for 300 MB plan and Rs.100 for internet Booster.
3. I have been informed that internet data is provided free of cost if by using Airtel app. Where i have more 12GB of internet.
4. When i called 121 yesterday to refund of the excess charges, they have told me that they will refund only of a month of Rs.200 and the mobile internet has been disabled completely.

I had a trust with Airtel, thats the reason i did not even checked my bills for a such a long time (3yrs) This overcharge without any update has let down the confidence on Airtel.

And i have found that i have been over charged for more than a year. Would like to know how you are going to repay the amount. And the trust which is lost. I have been advised by my friends to go to consumer forum and raise this complaint. But initially i want to update you and if in case there is no response i will be forced to go to consumer court.

Not getting my money refunded

Hello,

I have paid Rs.822 to Airtel which is by mistake paid on different number on 12th Aug, I have initiated the refund on the same date. Then I tried to get the information from customer care but they are just not aware where my money is.

Regarding worst service

My docomo no 8792319479 i wanted to port in airtel. After all the verification they told me that they will activate my airtel no on 30th october. My docomo no get deactivated but airtel sim didn't get activated. After that they gave me 2 more sims but none get activated. I complained but they didn't take any appropriate actions and keep postponing. Now they are telling me it will take 3 more days. My no is deactivated i am facing so much of trouble due to this. This is the worst service ever.

9060957736 number not able to recharge

My name is Swathi Raj. S, I am using Airtel SIM from past 6 years, mobile number 9060957736 and it is my husband's name Mr. Rajiv. C. P. I am unable to recharge my number from past 4-5 months. I had visited Airtel customer care, they have given me new SIM card for the same number, but then also I am not able to recharge. Please resolve this issue and kindly do the needful at the earliest.

4G Network

Dear concerned person,
TRAI department
I ported to airtel on 25th october. i raised a complaint to activate 4g on 26th morning because i am using 4g volte, asus zenfone 2 laser mobile.they told it take 24hr to activate. i agreed. but today 29th october morning. still not activated. i called customer service centre 198 on 28th and raised a complaint 4 times. no+ve response from anyone. MORE IMPORTANTLY THEY ARE NOT SURE ABOUT AIRTEL SERVICES AND GIVING FALSE PROMISES. i am a business man need to connect to internet always. these 2 days lost a huge impact in my business from airtel. i requested to activated for hello tunes also not done the job till now. such a worst customer service providing airtel to me.

Humble request to take action immediately.

SUGGESTION: If any mobile network service provider cant give a good service to new customer who ported from different network will be port back to the same network with no extra charges.
please implement the same and do necessary action to have trust on TRAI.

Number portability not active - more than 1 month

I ported my number 9986830534 from vodafone to Airtel one month back and till now connection not activated.
One month back my porting request got accepted by Airtel and my connection from Vodafone got disconnected but till date I am unable to use my number as it's not active yet.It's now more than 1 month still now there is no effective response from the Airtel customer care end.Every time I call the response issue will be fixed in next 24 hours which is not happening.
Also Airtel customer care accepted that there is some issue in back end and still now didn't care to resolve it.
Since I am using this number for many years all my contacts are unable to reach me and also am missing some of the important calls.It's very much affecting my daily life and I didnt expect this from Airtel end.I was much happier with Vodafone.

Wrong Deduction of money

I am on prepaid plan unlimited till 7 or 8 Nov 2017.
Yesterday and today money got deducted when I had called Andhra Pradesh 837418317.
It is unfortunate and unprofessional to deduct money when this cost is not chargeable.

I am highly dissatisfied customer. refer complaint CBDSM2101927957 ( not resolved).
When contacted they say, it is SMS cost, I did not send any SMS at all since last two days. How deduction happened?
It appears Airtel is practicing highly unethical practices to make money from customers.
What a shame for your company as well as for your Chairman /top management to resort to this bad practices to make money using technology.
Your customer contact menu takes 10 minutes to reach customer executive , who pays for this time. To recover less than Rs.5 my time cost is .............much more. Feel shameful for choosing unethical technology route to make money.

Prepaid wrong deduction for STD call

I am on prepaid plan unlimited plan till 7 Nov 2017.

complain for 349 plan

I used most of the network and i think airtel is most fraud for cheating people.My intention is not blaming but i faced such things.
I recharged 349 unlimited pack in airtel application.After that its not working now because i am in roaming.The plan didn't specify such details when i recharged, only give the details of unlimited plan.
After that i called to costumer care but they don't take any responsibility and said that all network have that same policy that plan not working at roaming(but its wrong because other network like jio plan working well) . So my rs 349 was wasted .So i thing airtel network is the fraudest network above all networks.

I came to Jaipur from Bangalore on 8 Oct after than 12 Oct my MNP request is approved.

connection not working

Dear Readers,
We are having the number 08041229217 from Airtel, the service of this company is LOUSY, please do not even take this connection even for free, in the last 90 days the connection must have been down at least 20-30 days, take this connection if you want your BP to increase. These guys are not reliable.

Amount got deducted from bank after confirmation recharge but amount is not reflected in main balance

I recharged my mobile for Rs 310 from application SBI anywhere , i got message of successful recharge with transaction id Mobile number XXXXXX0268 is recharged successfully for Rs. 310.00.TID: UH23517032 ( Oper Ref : 21162554920710201714 )on 7/10 /17 at 14.41, but Rs 310 is not reflected in the main account balance. Please do needful.
