Delay in porting out of postpaid cell number

I had applied to AIRTEL for porting out my postpaid number - 9820345733, on 15-Oct-2013 (with unique porting ID AM193635). I then applied to Vodafone with this unique porting ID. However, Airtel is delaying in porting out my number beyond the stipulated time. Kindly advise.

STATUS FOR MNP

I am facing the worst experience with you (Airtel) for getting service upgraded from prepaid to postpaid. Generally with other operators like Vodafone, Idea, Tata or another network, if any customer request for up-gradation (Prepaid to Postpaid), operators follow ups with the customer and ensure to provide there best service for long term relationship, however in case of Airtel this works just opposite.

I have been using the mentioned number (+91. 989281924) randomly for last 8-10 years under prepaid plan. A week back I thought to upgrade it into postpaid as my other numbers (Vodafone and Idea) are into postpaid. so I shared my contact details on Airtel website on 25th and 26th Sept for getting information. To which I got a call from some Airtel agency (+91. 9766335433) on 27th Sep Some girl named sNEhal called up and started explaining about the tariff plans (with all confusion).

To get better picture on tariff, I asked her to email the tariff plans and call me later for explanation. And also for setting up appointment with sales executive for further discussion and hand-overing requirement document. However I am still waiting to the the call from the Agency till now. Also just to inform the amount mentioned by the agency for conversion was Rs. 300 and the amount I paid at Airtel Gallery (Panvel) is Rs. 200. (Is that not wrong commitments)

Moving a head, I didn't waste any time on 27th Sept EOD, I collected information from Airtel Gallery (Panvel) and submitted my document on 28th Sept. I specifically asked in Airtel Gallery, about the activation, to which I was informed 4 working days (No other network takes more than 2 working days for postpaid). After which I wrote a series of mail to 121 and nodal mail id, but seeking no response I sent an REMINDER and then new EPIC started.

To my remind email, I got a response from Nodal asking series of questions with no resolution. Interestingly I got a call from Delhi Airtel Office from +91. 8130419700 (forgot her name), the following executive called on the number and started with her questioning sessions (More sort of cross questioning). With over all the first call discussion, I think she was in no mood to resolve the complaint but was more over sounding like dong favour on Airtel and customers. On top for the call she even got to designation of and hierarchy in the organisation (Should i be care …...I really don't).

After a lengthly (stupid) discussion, this lady (+91. 8130419700) was ready to get in touch with Airtel Gallery-Panvel to rectify the problem.

After few moments this lady (+91. 8130419700) called me again and took me in conference with Airtel Gallery Panvel. Here new story was beginning, these people were not able to find my details and asked me about the airtel gallery address (cross verification). As they were not able to find my records. Some how they found it (Lucky me or not), when I asked then what was the problem, it was communicated as technical error, however it was more sort of typing error which landed on delay. Beside during all this conference call lady from Delhi office (+91. 8130419700) kept mum and did not utter a single word. I end conference asking about how many more days for conversion ( The Answer is till 4 days)

With NO option, I moved back to my work and just moments after i got a call from Delhi Airtel Office(+91. 8130419700). This lady called me again and said "she was didn't had any concern with with the issue and just played as an mediator in all the episode".

The general tendency or process followed in every industry is to understand customer query from internal team or the details and then inform him with resolution, but in case of AIrtel this works really opposite. With my experience, I got a call from Airtel, only after i raised REMINDER. Beside I had to explain the situation to the third person (Delhi Airtel Office - +91. 8130419700), wherein the lady was not interested in understand the problem and was more sounding to doing favour


I WANT TO UNDERSTAND FEW THINGS FROM AIRTEL,
DO YOU THINK CUSTOMER ARE PAIN FOR YOU.
DO THE EXECUTIVE GET PAID TO SIT IN AIRTEL OFFICE. OR DO WE PAY TO LOW LEVEL SERVICE.
DOES CUSTOMER HAVE TO THINK ABOUT DEPARTMENT AND HIERARCHY WHILE RASING COMPLAINTS.

I am looking forward for a serious explanation from Airtel/ Delhi office lady and/or every one in Airtel on the above episode. This will assist me to understand how customer centric Airtel is and how much do you care about about the Customer. Also is it worth to keep such a PATHETIC SERVICE.

AIRTEL CHEATS CUSTOMERS

Hi,

I have been facing serious issues with the way the Airtel Customer care operates.

I have a voice + combo plan of 549 in which I have been given 549 local minutes, 200 sms and 2gb of 3g data free.

I noticed that my internet was too slow to even open a small image on wattsapp.

When I inquired on 25-July-2013, TOO MY SHOCK IT WAS SAID THAT MY 2GB FREE SERVICE HAS BEEN DISACTIVATED.

They further told your 0 rental 3G plan is activated and you have only 317 MB of data free and the rest is chargeable.

Since then I have been on call for almost 3 hours with the so called GOLD CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE FROM AIRTEL.

Below are the names and interaction ID of the people I have interacted with, I dont recollect all the names but roughly I have spoken to almost 10 + people which includes executive and Floor managers.

Many of them have Disconnected the call half way without giving the solution.

So Called Gold SERVICE provider do the following things.
They give Inadequate information
They Lie at times
They disconnect the calls
They don’t transfer the calls to the supervisor if they are not able to solve the problem
In one case the supervisor told the executive to cut the call which I heard clearly as the executive forgot to keep the call on mute.
Wrong information conveyed because of which I have been charged at Rs 2700+.

I want to tell all those people using Airtel to first note the name and the interaction ID when to call customer care. Because I don’t trust their service. Airtel is giving the worst Customer Service, Airtel lies to the Customer, Airtel Cheats the customer

hello sir,
i am vaibhav saraswata i deposited all the asked documents and sum of 500 rs and took airtel mobile sim no 9987950786 around 5 days back as per company's direction inquiry at my residential address home has also been done on 29 june 2013 but due to very casual approach of the employees my sim has not been started yet. it's really very bad experiance with airtel.
please sought out my problem starting my sim working as soon as possible

wrong information and delay in delivery

Airtel is bad
Hi I lost my phone - airtel card 9004199947 is my airtel num. I called the call center and blocked the card .
One of your boy whose num is 7303984260 calls me on 21st and say he will issue a new card and deliver to my place. He said he will be coming by noon but without informing he came in the evening where we the had left from the place .He got late coz he dint not knew the place . Next day he said he will come for sure since now he is briefed by my dad . again he came late at 7.45pm .He did not inform . I called him and asked him he said he was stuck at grant road.
My dad gave him the right documents but without a proper check and information he asked my dad to gv his documents and number will be activated by next day morning 9am. two days card was not activated. Again I called him for the same he said wrong documents are submitted so num is inactive . He did not even call me .Why do I have to call him again and again . Next day he came and collected the documents today my num should be active by 9am but still not working .

Its really sad to say the standard of airtel is gone down and not customer centric any more . Only good in ball talks . I m not gonna pay i single penny for this month . I would like to close this number permanently . Im am suffering since 7 to 10 days just because of some lame reasons .

you lost the trust . I will never recoomand any on eto buy airtel.

Unwarranted subscription to Hello Tunes

This morning I received a series of messages from Airtel saying "Thank You for choosing HELLO TUNES SUBSCRIPTION on your airtel mobile. You have been charged RS. 60 for 90 days and your account balance post charging is xxx at 10:51" and "Thank You for choosing HELLO TUNES SONG on your airtel mobile. You have been charged RS. 15 for 90 days and your account balance post charging is xxx at 10:51." Moreover, this is not the first time that such a ridiculous thing has happened to me. Thus I expect a refund of Rs 75 at the earliest, an apology and a guarantee that this will not place again.

nonaccounting of payment made

Dear sir, I have a mobile simcard connection(No.8454849700) for my Ipad. This connection was provided on 05.01.2013 and on 11.01.2013 I was told that my billing cycle would be from 12th of everymonth. Accordingly charges for one week was recovered from me. Thereafter I have been receiving bills on 12th of everymonth in eformat and I am making payment of the same. The details are as under :

In the month of April 2013, I was continuously harassed by numerous calls on my mobile phone asking me to pay my bill. Everytime I had to confirm them about my payment.Again, the calls would follow next day and it continued for about 10 days and finally when I lodged an online complaint and clarified my position, the calls stopped coming from 25.04.2013. After all this calm, today I have received my bill for April 2013 and dated 12.05.2013 which shows an arrears of Rs.1050.03.which according to me is the bill for March 2013 and which has been paid by me on 03.04.2013 as indicated above and I fail to understand the accounting practice of this company and I request your kind interference to resolve the issue.

Call details not received

Requested for call details on 27/04/2013, bearing ref:Reg ID 631663, received 121’s reply stating “Your prepare bill has been generated you will receiev ebill within 6 Hrs or paper bill within 10 days, charges at Rs.50 have been debited to your airtel Prepaid”. Till date” call details statement” is not received by me. Made follow up vide Customer Care No.198 & Nodal Officer bearing No. 9987234865 and again lodged RIDIL5050618936400 dtd 06/05/2013,again lodged online complaint (Help at hand) vide PR050900319 dtd 09/052013 still no response. gain on 10/05/2013 personal visited to Airtel Experience center Customer Care Lobby, Bharti Airtel Limited, Ground Floor, Peninsula Chambers,Ganpat Rao Kadam Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai 400013 they said we cant help you in this matter directly talk to airtel.
Pl. note that this is required for submission in court, if not received immediately, then Airtel shall be solely responsible for the consequences.

Datacard - 3G network Issue

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I had purchased Airtel Data card from Ridhi Sidhi Telecommunication, Malad on 30th March 2013. My 3G Dongal No. is 9892635156 .

This was activated on 1st April 2013, but even after 1 month of activation , I am unable to use this datacard neither in my residence - Malad east Nor in my office Andheri west, Lami Industrial estate as there is no 3G network available. None of the web page is opening.

I have put complaint more than 20 times to Airtel customer care, but they are least bother . Every time they register complaint and assure that your problem will be solved , but they do not take any action. They had promissed their network team will conduct survey and take corrective actions.

Its almost one month passed, still I am unable to get 3G networks in Malad east Kurar & Andheri west .

They are selling their data cards just for looting, it seems this company is not trustworthy at all . They do not have value of their words.

Request you to take the matter to their CEO Mr. Bharti Mittal . I have been cheated by the Shop who sold me Airtel 3G data card by saying this has good speed and by Airtel they are not able to solve the network issue since last one month.

Very bad wireless broadband service

I am receiving very slow and intermittent wireless broadband services in kandivali Lokhandwala, Mumbai Area. i hear from other users that who use Airtel wireless broad that the speed fluctuates between 600kbps to 0kbps very wildly (stays at 0kbps for most times). I have both Airtel wireless broadband as well as Tata Photon and whenever i have to use skype or other services needing good data flow it is impossible with Airtel. only Photon's services are up to the mark for these uses.

airtel charging even after discontinued services

respected sir,
airtel is charging me even after discontinuation of services of my mobile postpaid connection. they discontinued my services at the end of march and they are still charrging me after discontinuing all the services. they were overcharging so i didn't paid the bill which led to discontinuation of services. but even after discontinuation of services airtel is charging me which is very wrong. i m a student i cannot afford to pay such unfair bills .i called airtel customer care and they said they will continue to keep charging me even after discontinuation of services which is very wrong. i even asked them to disconnect and close my number permanently but they are not doing that too . sir plz help me and resolve my issue. my details are as follows
