I am an Airtel customer. The online bills for monthly usage generated through Airtel portal is not having GST number printed on it. Because of this my employer is refusing to accept my telephone claim for reimbursement.

Recharged twice for the same plan

Date of Incident : 25/09/2017 Please note that I have first recharged my airtel prepaid mobile [protected] with Rs 349 plan. Amount got deducted from my Axis account( I used NET BANKING). But I did not get a confirmation that the recharge has been successfully done and page was not getting loaded. I waited for 15 minutes. Then I tried again doing same recharge, it got successfully recharged and I got confirmation also for the same. After few seconds the first recharge has also got confirmed. Now my concern is that both the recharge are for the same plan. Please if you could refund the second recharge of Rs 349 or you could extend the second recharge for next month. It would be really very appreciable. Your customer support number is always busy,.So I am writing you this mail. Thanking you in an anticipation. Regards, Hilda james

E-KYC Verification

I have two Airtel Mobile Nos. Now I am getting daily sms to reverify the Aadhar ID through E-KYC process. I am 67 years old I have a skin condition an auto immune disorder due to which only iris scan will work. on 08/09/2017 I visited your Airtel shop at Express Avenueat Chennai. They tried to scan the finger prints. As it was very difficult to get the fingerprint they turned me away without the E-KYC e-verification. They do not have IRIS scan facility. They also do not know where the IRIS scan facility is available in Chennai city. Please help me to complte the E-KYC process through IRIS scan. The deadline is February 2018. I have sent some emails to their customercare. Till date I have not received any response. Please help me

On 23rd I had portal change from Aircel to Airtel .The team manager and an office staff named Thomas came home and gave the sim took my thumb impression and got my Adhaar number and told that my Sim will be activated on 30th .But till yesterday ie 4.9.17 my sim was not activated .

they asked me to come to the perungulathur Chennai show room and asked to change a new sim .they gave the sim and told it will be activated within 4 hrs

But till now it is not activated

Most Urgent ;

I am in a most urgent situation .All my transactions are locked because of the OTP number is this cell number .Medical Urgency .please understand and do the needful in activating .

NB: The AIRTEL PERSON THOMAS who gave the Airtel Sim -quitted his job itseems .... iAM Very much affected . New Sim number:8991000900593687323U

UN TV is not available for the past one week

Balance Deduction

Dear Airtel,

Need details for the airtel no: 9597429944

My no. gets automatically subscribed to following services when switch on my data pack..

1.Jun 23 - Videostore Rs.35
2.Jun 26 - Sports Videopack Rs.99
3.Jul 01 - Lyfetime dressing room Rs.99
4.Jul 01 - Tiny TV Rs.15
5.Jul 04 - Videoclub Rs.5 and so on..

I called customer care and complained about it on 1st instance itself. They Deactivated it But not refund the unfairly taken amount.

But it again continues when I switch on data pack till my balance gets void.
After that also I'm getting messages saying kindly recharge to cont the services though I deactivated all the services.

clarify the details why I have to pay for the unused and unwanted services .

Kindly Refund the unfairly taken amount from my airtel account.

MNP related problems

I was ported from Vodafone to airtel prepaid on July 4th 2017. And then my number is blocked from Vodafone but in airtel there is no activation of my number. Both the operators are accepted my request then only ported. But now airtel not responded in a good way. I want my number​ immediately. Please kindly do the needful.

Non Activation of SIM

Airtel Prepaid No 9900465237 is not activated despite SIM SWAP yesterday. I was told by the dealer that sim swap to nano sim will be completed in 30 minutes. Customer care executives keep telling a different timeline and now they say it will take 72 hours. How on earth will one wait for 3 days for SIM swap from Micro to Nano Sim with the same account. This is ridiculous. Airtel may please confirm whether they are a responsible telecom company or a legacy psu. Senior executives in airtel must instruct their people to do their work quickly.

I have already submitted a complaint on June 14th, till now I did not get any response.

I recently did MNP ( hyderabad postpaid circle to Chennai prepaid).
1)I'm not able to receive any calls (receiving a text as 'invalid number')
2)Unable to receive or send messages( can't send message with airtel, error 28).
3)USSD codes are also not working(error 538, please try after sometime)
Please help me to fix the issue.

BILLING AFTER DISCONNECTION OF LANDLINE

Dear Sir


We Bavani Security & Night Patrol had landline connection No : 044- 42019935 since 2008.


But this time when we are shifting to our own premises at at A3, 2nd Avenue, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai - 600 041.


We have requested for Shifting of on 13.03.2017 and till 30.03.2017 your people had not given the shifting every 4 days once airtel people will call us and say that they need 2 more days. But atlast by 30.03.2017 your people told that it is not feasible to give shifting and the biggest jokes is they are asking me to continue the connection without shift. How it is possible for me to continue the connection, so i have told to disconnect. We have also received a message on 31.03.2017 that our connection is discounted.


But on 17.04.2017 we are receiving a bill stating that the bill is for the period from 17.03.2017 to 16.04.2017. It is very clear that on 13.03.2017 itself my request for shift has been taken and you people are not able to provide me the service and with out providing service your are charging us. We have called your call centers many a time and told about the issue, they told that you don't need to pay the bill we will resolve it.


But nothing happened atlast we have paid the bill amount on 18.05.2017. But after paying the bill amount you people are send us another bill for the period from 17.04.2017 to 16.05.2017. See what you people are thing about us, we fool are what.


Hereafter we will not let you people to play with us. We give you a last change to rectify your mistake and pay back the bill money which we have paid for the period from 17.03.2017 to 16.04.2017, the period which you people had not provided service to us.

Fraudulent transaction on Money from SBI account to Airtel Money

Pending refund

Dear Concerned, in reference to the complaint ID 716280056 & 79270658 (account number 7028328837) which was raised on 24th of February for incorrect connection which was provisioned. I had opted the 40Mbps Rs1099 plan with the sales executive . I had also paid a 5 months advance( Rs. 5495) as the sales executive committed to waive of the installation charges and the 6th month add-on with the upfront payment. During the installation on 24th Feb when i checked the maximum speeds only reached 16Mbps, when i enquired the installation engineer he said that only the 16Mbps plan was raised by the sales executive. When the sales executive was contacted again during the connection process he stated he forgot to mention about it. I immediately raised the issue with the support and they committed (complaint ID 716280056 & 79270658 ) an upgrade to 40Mbps within a week. After a week they were still unable upgrade the bandwidth hence i asked for a refund. After repeated followups with [email protected] they committed to process the refund on 17th march and i had shared them the required account details. Now after 4 months of followups i receive an update from the [email protected] that the amount can not be refunded. I have the complete track of discussions documented on mails. This is a very pathetic support and unsatisfactory response from Airtel which was not at all expected from such a big name. I anticipated this to be closed amicability but it doesn't seem to go in a good way. I expect and hope that appropriate actions are taken to resolve the issue and the amount is refunded ASAP.
