Broad Band issue from last 3 months

Hi Team,

My broad band speed is very low since 3 months now. (hardly 20 kpbs)
I have taken a plan of 8MBPS and I am not even getting 1MPS speed. However I get a bill of 1250 every month which I am paying it promptly.

I have been raising this complaint to BSNL office via toll free number 1500 from past 3 months now and they send me a contact number of a technician. When I call on that number the persons says that he is retired 1 & half year ago. Here is his name and contact number for your reference. (Venkatarangaiah C, Mobile NO. 9480161612)

Then I finally walk in to BSNL office Chandra Layout Branch every time I raise a new complaint (so many time) and office staff ask me to talk to the line man who is usually not available. After waiting for long time when he comes he says he is busy and he will look into the issue if he gets time to come toward my place.

Finally after following up for a week behind him, he comes to my home looks at the phone and restart the router and says, he will go to the office and do some changes in the exchange after which the broad band will work fine. Then he asks for money. I know he is not suppose to charge for that but without giving my he refuses to fix the issue. After taking the money the man just disappears and the problem remains the same. I get a message in next two days saying the ticket is closed and issue is resolved.

I then will have to start all the above mentioned process again by raising a new ticket. and this time here my new complaint number - ############

I think I am tired of contacting so many people now. This will be my last try to write to you. In case if writing to you also does not work then I will have no option but to discontinue from the BSNL service.I will also write an article on this in the new papers and forums to help people not to suffer like this.

I would really appreciate if you can look into this matter and help fix this issue.

FTTH Connection still not provided

Hello Team,
I am raising the request for the NEW connection of FFTH which was booked 02-04-2016,Its been a 2 months now till now i have not got the connection when is go to BSNL office i get the answers as they do not have cable is out off stock ,Its a pain visiting the BSNL office and requesting for the connection and answer will be it will done in few days waiting for the stock of cable to come and i need fallow it up.on weekly basic. can this issue be fixed please.

Now i got to know that the Stock of cable has come but they are busy to do the connection its pathetic to keep on fallowing the with them now one are taking responsible to do the connection

Still not getting bsnl new Land Line last one year

Phone Dead

Landline is not working from past one month and when we call to vidyaranyapura bsnl centre there is no response. But every month amount is getting deducted from the account.

Please rectify this issue as soon as possible.

Phone dead from one month


BSNL landline telephone and internet is not working for two months. When we try to call and register a complaint the BSNL officials do not attend the calls. We have registered complaints many times but they have not resolved this issue. BSNL officials who are assigned to fix the problem simply try to evade from their responsibilities. They just close the tickets without fixing the problem. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Bill without connection

I had applied for relocation of my phone with in Bangalorecity(Froam JP Nagar 8th Phase to JP Nagar 9th Phase) on sep 22nd 2014. The disconnection happend after a day and later i started receiving the bill for new connection.when contacted they said it will be adjusted in next bill once the connection happens at new place.Its almost a year and regularly i am rceving the bill from BSNL.I went to jayanagar 4th block BSNL office thric(every month i get SMS of the bill amount), they will say they will correct it.Even afetra year i receive the SMS regularly for the unpaid bill for the new number allotted. The local telecom AE says there is a feasibility issue and he has informed the higher auhtorities of the same.I stopped going there and waiting to see the action from their side.

BSNL Mobile connection not given

Dear Sir / Madam,

This is to bring to your notice that I have applied for BSNL mobile connection from KR Puram Bangalore and they have assigned 9448472266 this mobile number with immediate activation.

Within two days I have received a call from Shankar Puram BSNL office from M/S. Latha (080-26622788) stating that “ By mistake this number has been assigned to you, actually this number was belongs to one of ex BSNL employee, now he came back and asking for this number, if you didn’t permit to handover this SIM her job will be in risk and so on she has requested with me and I had informed her that I will not have any issue to return the SIM but I will not be going back to BSNL office with new application and she said that I will check with Prema madam and let you know. Later evening she called me and informed that you no need to submit the fresh application shortly we will arrange the alternate number for which agreed meanwhile I have collected M/S. Prema number (9449015858).

After two days I was trying to reach Shankar puram landline number (080-26622788) but I dint get the response, so later I have reached out M/S. Prema and informed all this story she said that we will arrange alternate number shortly don’t worry. Again few more days I have waited and waited later I got frustrated with BSNL officer and decided to withdraw the connection and I told her to refund my money and I will go with other service provider. Since I am Indian, always I prefer Indian product but this time it disappointed me.

I am not sure even after informing to BSNL higher authorities as customer going to get the solution, but it is my duty to bring to your notice such irresponsibleness of BSNL officers and in future I don’t prefer to go for any BSNL connection and shortly I may withdraw my all BSNL connections and switch over to other private service providers.

You may give the importance to the ex BSNL officer but meanwhile don’t forget that new customer also important to sustain the business. Also till I get the solution from BSNL I don’t mind to escalate tis matter at any higher level and also I would tweet this message in social networks for public awareness.

Being citizen of India, for me always country growth is important than ex-BSNL employee. And my final humble request is don’t disappoint any other customers in future so that it will keep all BSNL employees job safe and if you give negative response to the customers BSNL may not able to serve further…!

Rude officer lady

Well, people here think they are doing a favour talking to you in the CSC. I waited 15 mins in front of this lady officer sitting inside a cabin and when my turn came she Shooed me away as if I am an insect or something and told me rudely to stand outside and wait. She has a standard answer for everyone ...it will take two or three months for your ECS to happen.....Well thank you for your prompt service from this organization who live on the earnings of hapless elderly citizens and courtesy of other public sector organizations who are forced to fund this tamasha to go on forever.

Frequent Broadband Disconnections

BSNL Broadband has been intermittent for me from past 3 months and despite multiple complaints to BSNL, the concerned authorities are not able to identify the issue & fix the problems.
All sorts of reasons are provided from line fault, cable fault, exchange fault, etc , etc

Can this be addressed ASAP as I have decided to move out of BSNL to a private provider.

BSNL landline is not shifted even after 21 days

Hi Sir

i have applied for shifting of landline from indiranagar to koramangala and its not shifted yet and no call from koramangala office near NGV. my new number is 25700428

They asked me to speak to head whose number is 9449857378 . his response was pathetic and never calls back

Non-Shifting of Broadband connection

Hello Sir,

I have submitted a request for shifting of my broadband connection (Phone number: 080-25537475) to a new address on 28-Mar-2015. I have been using the BSNL BB connection for almost a year and I have recently shifted my house to a new location. Till date there has been no acknowledgement or no information on what happened to the service order. Whenever I call up the customer care, they say it is in progress and it has been a month since I gave the request and still I am waiting for the connection to me. If there is no feasibility then atleast the concerned authorities should call me up and update me or send as SMS and intimate me whether it can happen or not, so that I will look for other alternatives. But this lethargic attitude of people working in BSNL is what really brings the brand name down. I am totally frustrated with the non-responsive attitude, no matter what amount of follow up you make, you still get the same answer and even better, the customer care asks you to go and check with the customer service center in person in which I have submitted the request earlier. This is totally pathetic and this is why really people think of other telecom operators when it comes to the pathetic service that BSNL provides. Trust me, when I initially registered for a new Broadband connection, the filling up of forms and the collection of dcouments and cash was very quick and I was really happy that i will get the connection within a week. But for getting that connection I had to raise several complaints and then get the required authorities attention and then I got the right contact persons number and then i got the connection after a month. I think its better to shutdown to BSNL permanently, so that it will save a lot of pain for customers, or even better you can privatise it and they will give a better service atleast.

Broadband Not working

Dear Sir,

I have the BSNL broadband service for many years. Lately I the broadband is not functioning. I reported the matter to BSNL wide complaint number ############ on 20/4/2015 and never attended to it and message came from them that the complaint is resolved. Then again I raised a ticket on 24th/April 2015 wide ticket number ############ and immediately after a day message came to me that the complaint is resolved.
Now I do not know what to do? I tried calling few numbers but they were not responding properly. Hence I want to bring it your notice about my complaint. Pl extend your help in this matter.

Unable to access on-line services as login fails

After registering for on-line services, BSNL confirmed my user ID and password as I got confirmation messages on my mobile and to my email address. But I get the following message from the BSNL Customer Care Portal when I try to access the on-line services
The password you have entered is not correct. Please enter your password again.(SBL-DAT-00569)

I even used the new password after getting one by resorting to forgot password. But I get the same message:

Non shifting of land line connection

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I have applied for land line phone connection shifting from Basaveswaranagar to Upkar Residency in early May this year. But so far no response either at the concerned telephone exchange or from the BSNL authorities. When ever we approach with a request every other officer wanted to escape by giving citing technical reason. We have emotionally depended on the BSNL for its prompt service. BSNL, being a public utility service provider, it should satisfy the customer needs and requirements. I want to know what is the real problem behind not shifting/ transferring the land line since May. If there is any serious problem, how can my immediate neighbor can get it long back. This shows that callous attitude on the part of authorities concerned in the Anjananagar Telephone exchange. When BSNL has not entertained my request for transfer of land line, now I am forced to go for taking private telephone connection and brand band services by paying double the amount of normal billing. Who is responsible for this mess. Should we blame the authorities or the whole system? At least now, through your esteemed columns, I request the officials concerned at the Ministry of Telecommunications, Govt of India issue direction to look into the matter not only at my specific complaint but also to lay the BSNL line at the UPKAR RESIDENCY, Near Ullalu RTO , Bengaluru at the earliest.

Boardband & Landline

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing this email to you on the poor service provided by BSNL. I have been using the connection for almost 10 yrs with broadband along with landline . Till day there has been no payment default from our end.

For almost a month now, the landline is not working & there has been 10 complaints booked and immediately the call get solved without resolving the issue.

There is box which connects both landline and the broadband and the box is not working properly due to some damage caused during heavy rains. Now, that Mr. Iqbal ( Service man from BSNL)is insisting me to buy the box and call him for servicing & without which he will not be able to fix the problem.

I have to keep switching the cable between landline to broadband – the option is that only one device connects at a time.

Kindly help me with resolving this issue on priority.

Land Line Not WorkinG

First they told me it was a fault with the Main Box, we checked with our technician he told its good condition please send some good technical guy to work gets done got it configured in the exchange and still having issues with it.

Billing done when phone went dead

The bsnl landline connection went dead on 7th of October, following which a complaint was registered with the exchange over telephone. They shared the no of of line service man and asked me to contact him directly. Repeated calls to him in vain. Finally he picked up after a week and took the complaint. However he came the next month and replaced the entire connection line from the pole. The bill has been charged for the month of October, following which it was disconnected and then bill has been charged for the month of november as well.

Can you please consider this complaint and provide me an appropriate revised bill.

Pathetic internet connection.


My internet connection [Ph. No: 080-27825125] is having issues since the past 2-3 months wherein the connection is gets disconnected intermittently every few minutes. This is due to the DSL not being stable. I have complained the local engineers and the line men about this, multiple times.
Every time, the issue is fixed and the connection remains stable for a couple of days and then it recurs.
On further discussion with them, I got to know that this is due to the poor quality of wires/cables used to provide the connection.
The line men say that they cannot replace the faulty ones since they are unavailable and they do not have a solution to this.
I am clueless right now and hope BSNL takes some swift action to resolve this issue.

Borad band not working for 26722307 at BSK 3rd stage, Hosakere Halli.

No body is responding to the complaint. When contacted over phone it says "Work is still in progress". But How long the message is getting repeated,? Is there any one to monitor such lethargic way of functioning. How can it earn profit and compete with private operators is a big question mark. None of the senior officials are serious about the customer complaints. This is happening for more than a month., What a lazy way of working. This is classic example of horrible way of functioning of the BSNL.

land line dead
