Refund

On 31 May, I booked tickets using irctc app. Due to failure in providing the preferences, the tickets could not be booked but the payment was made. I have tried to contact the customer care too but no positive reply was given. Please look into the matter.

I have login problem for booking tickets as I found the Mobile No. shown is wrong in the details with you. I forgot my password too. I also forgot my security question and answer.

No response from care@irctc.co.in

Raising problem or complaint at care@irctc.co.in gives no response except mechanical reply mail giving a ticket id which cannot be used for status exploration and every-time when one contacts, a new ticket id is generated, which as the first one has no value. Will care@irctc.co.in care to explain how to find status or response of the complaints or suggestions raised? For example:

There is no need to reply to this message right now. Your email has been assigned ticket ID [IRCTC #..........(i)].
Please include ticket ID:
[IRCTC #..........(i).]
in the subject line of all future correspondence about this issue. With whom to correspond and for what, if query simply yields another similar response with a new assigned ticket ID [IRCTC #...............(ii)] for query made at care@irctc.co.in.

It is past a week that I have received no attention to my ticket ID [IRCTC #5941186].dtd 28 May 2017 and am simply getting new id on query. Do not know how long shall I be cared like this!
Can anybody help to get simple correction done in e-tkt for oversight wrong entry in passenger details booked from own id?

Not refunded my money

Sir, 1 am taken a tatkal ticket on 12 may for 13 may for mas to tuni, at travelling time my 2nd ac ticket changed in 3rd ac
When I asked to Tc he said that e tatkal amt will be credit in my account automatically.
He did not tell me anything for further rule.
I was waiting for that but today I talked irctc call center. They are telling rule. I am asking why Ur TC did not explain rule,

Refund of e ticketing for not travelling

Sir, We booked e- tickets vide PNR No. 2554536137 of Kalka Mail Train No. 12312 from Kalka to Delhi under Class-2A on 27.12.2016 at 1621 hrs. through agent of National International Tours Travel, B-11, East Arjun Nagar, Lehari Colony, New Delhi-32. The Schedule time of Departure of Kalka Mail train was 23:55 hrs. on 6.1.2017 and reached to Delhi on 7.1.2017 at 06.30 hrs.. But the said train was late by 9 hrs., hence we could not travel from such train and reached Delhi by Shatabdi Express train and the booked e-ticket was cancelled by our agent through TDR on 7.1.2017 in the early morning on our request. We are sorry to inform you that after passed 4 months time nothing has been heard either from our agent or from the India Railways about the refund of the amount. Sir, you are requested to kindly look into the matter and instruct the concerned authorities to take early and positive action in this regard. Thanking you.
