complaint against dth service providers

approximately all the digital service providers are giving channels to their customers according to their own choice. they had made packs in such a way that a consumer is forced to purchase packs of higher cost
consumers have no right to choose their own favourite channels and pay for that much only.
please help and support me regarding the same.

Denial of Tata Sky HD set top box in Palash, Wakad

Hello,

Myself Kapil and recently, on purchase of Sony LED TV, Reliance Digital activated my Tata Sky account wherein I received the Tata Sky subscribe id: 1101406187. Later during the day, I received a call from local Tata Sky saying that installation of set top box and starting of Tata Sky service cannot be provided to me due to fear from the local cable operators in the Wakad region.

From Reliance Digital, I got the mobile number of Tata Sky Sales Area Manager to whom I tried to explain the issue. But, finally next day, after the contacting the sales person of Tata Sky who works in Reliance Digital, I come to know that my Tata Sky activation has been automatically cancelled and Tata Sky Refund request with id: ############has already been generated.

This kind of service is totally unacceptable and that too from Tata Sky. Please let me know if at all Tata Sky activation can be done for my Palash flat in Wakad, Pune.

I do hope you will take up the matter and ensure that I do get the activation done from Tata Sky.

airtel not replacing the set top box

i had punches the airtel digital TV hd set top box 1 yr ago i had problem the it not showing lot of Channels with only blank screen when i had record my to local air tel dth office they told send the engineer for resolution of problem and he charge 130 rs.,when ready to pay the the engineer come and check the prob and after that he told that the problem is with set top box it had to replace i so when i tell to replace he said it will charge 750 rs that I'm not conform that if i pay them there charges for viewing the TV every month is there responsibility to provide all mountainous,but they are not getting ready for the give replacement for free of cost then i say them to replace i will pay for that box this matter is about 20 day before engineer took his charge of 130 with out resolving the problem and commit that he will replace sat top of on next day which is not replaced till date 9-feb-2013 and after that i had registered my complaint on there costumer care center two tI'me the ref no of the complaints are 27981726 dated 1-feb-2013 and 28086752 dated 6-feb-2013 and also talk to costumer care representative on 9-feb-2013 but no positive response from there side so want help from you that they should replace my set top box for free of cost and because of high pay rentals they should ream bus my rentals for 1 day of complaint to the date when they replace the set top box

set top box put by local cable operators

our cable guy taken the money and promised to install set top box asap but after making innumerable calls he didnt come up and install the box, suddenly one fine day he came but thanks to him didnt bring the power cord of settop box after making false promise that he will come tomorrow in morning again he still not visited my place. if i m making ccalls all r futile as he is not answer any of the call, apart this he charged too much for the set top box........i dont know where to complaint..... it is so ridiculous there is no cust care for this.........who can take strict action.....if govt implies the rule of digitization they must think abt customer convience abt complaining of cablewalahs . our govt always do half work..very much annoyed of our govt.

COMPLAINT AGAINST TATA SKY

GUYS, I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED WHY DID I CHOOSE TATA SKY FOR BOTH OF MY TELEVISIONS.FOR THE LAST 8 DAYS I.E FROM 27 TH DECEMBER TILL 03RD JANUARY 2013 I.E TODAY I AM CUTOFF FROM REST OF THE WORLD AS
BOTH MY TELEVISIONS ARE LIKE SHOWPIECES WITHOUT CABLE CONNECTION.
TATA SKY DEBITED INR 2080 APPX IN MY ACCOUNT AND THEY THEMSELVES DONOT KNOW WHY THIS AMOUNT HAS BEEN DEBITED TO MY ACCOUNT.EVERYDAY THEY PROMISE FOR TIME TILL EVENING, JUST IMAGINE LIFE WIHTOUT
T.V THAT TOO INDO /PAK SERIES, 31ST DEC PROGRAMMES ETC ETC.
NODAL OFFICE DONOT PICKUP PHONES , AND NO BODY CALLS US , I HAD EVEN SPENT RS 800 TILL NOW ON PHONE CALLS .
PLEASE PLEASE TATA SKY IS A BIG COMPANY , GOVT HAS GIVEN THEM OPEN LICENSE TO DO LOOTING FROM INDIAN CUSTOMERS.
CAN ANY ONE HELP ME , WHERE DO I COMPLAIN.
I PAID THEM 6280 FOR A RECORDING UNIT AND 1600 FOR ANOTHER CONNECTION.

Airtal Digital TV

Dear All,
I am a customer of airtel digital tv and i subscribed for a economy sports pack in my account. i paid for six months and now Airtel executives telling that after six months i will not be able to have subscription of sports channels sponsored by Star. We have to pay Rs. 51.00 per month extra to subscribe these channels.

Complaint against the cable operator

our cable operator says that we can not watch the channels which have gone digital and have to buy the set up box. now when the date has been extended from the ministry then why we can not see those channels. when i asked the same thing from our cable operator, he says that govt has asked them to increase the number of channels to 350 or 500. in order to increase the number of channels he has to remove the digital channels. I don't understand this logic and this is indirectly forcing the customer to purchase the setup box.

Is there any law where the cable operator can escape from showing the channels like HBO, espn, Star Sport, Star Movies etc.

anyone who know the rule please advice me.

Airtel DTH service not working

I am a customer of Airtel DTH service and I subscribed for a economy gold sports pack in this service. My customer ID is 3010670867.
I have not been receiving signals for any sports channels and I receive a message- “you are not subscribed to this channel”. Please note that I am totally unsatisfied with the way the services are postponed or remained unanswered on the part of Airtel DTH. There is nobody to pick up the phone call there even. Kindly help.

Complaint against Airtel DTH

I have applied for Airtel DTH Add-on connection through one of their dealers but the techician could not activate the set up box and accordingly I lodged number of complaints with Airtel Customer Care and was told that their Engineer will visit to resolve the problem. It is still unattended. My Customer ID is 3004197138.

dish tv dth

i buy dish TV dth set top box on 25 October 2012 online form Delhi and dish TV customer care send me a mail we fix your dth with 24 to 48 hours but till date i am not revived any dth sorry to say but dish is play with Customer they are not care his customer time they are only got money and say we are no 1 dth company but i am say this wrong word and the ground true is poor and bad service kindly looking this matter do need full my token no is 156883 this no given by dish TV sell care

TATASKY DTH

FOR LAST 5 DAYS WE HAVE BEEN CALLING TATASKY EXECUTIVE AT THEIR CALL CENTER IN PUNE STATING THAT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO VIEW TATASKY DUE TO SETUP BOX ISSUE. TECHNICIAN WHICH CAME SAID NEED TO REPLACE IT AND NEED TO PAY 350 BUGS ONLINE TO TATASKY FOR HIM TO REPLACE. ITS MORE THAN 4 DAYS NOW EVEN AFTER PAYING AMOUNT OF 750 ( 350 FOR SETUP BOX + 175 FOR TECHNICIAN VISIT + ADDITIONAL AMOUNT ) NO NOBODY HAS TURNED UP. AFTER GIVING 10 TO 15 CALLS FOR 4 DAYS AND ASSURED BY CALL CENTER IN PUNE THAT SOMEBODY WILL COME IN 2 HOURS ITS MORE THAN 96 HOURS NO ONE HAS TURNED UP. . EVEN ADDRESS CONVEYED EARLIER AND AGAIN 4 DAYS BACKS IS STILL NOT UPDATED.

MOREOVER PUNE CALL CENTER EXECUTIVE NAME DATTATRYA IN ARROGANT MANNER SAYS HE IS PROCESSING TO REMOVE THE TATASKY AFTER GETTING ANNOYED FOR COMPLAINING THE CALL NOT ATTENDED AND TO MY SURPRISE THE ACCOUNT AFTER DEDUCTING 10 /- IS TEMPORARY SUSPENDED SINCE 11.09.12 . NOT ATTENDING COMPLAINTS AFTER SO MANY REMINDER IS ONE ISSUE, HEIGHT IS THAT THE ACCOUNT IS SUSPENDED BY TATASKY FOR 3 DAYS. SPEAKING TO HIGHER EXECUTIVE IN PUNE CALL CENTER MS. VIDYA WHO SAID SHE WAS SENIOR MANGER IN TATASKY PUNE CALL CENTER DID NOT HELP. REGRET HAVING TAKEN TATASKY SEVEN YEARS BACK .

airtel not replacing the set top box

my airtel dvr stopped working 6 days ago n i have been calling them since then but they have only been taking my complaint and doing nothing about it. calling up the customer care is such a headache coz it takes an hour atleast for them to connect the call to their higher up n there s no result. the concerned engineer switches of his mobile or doesnt receive the cal what is the solution for such a behavior its the 3rd time this is happening to the dvr if we ask y does it happen they say its becoz its an old thing i mean how old its just been a year and a half they expect me to change to the new hd dvr i invested 4000 on this thing n it doesnt make sense buying another one is there some one who can help me??? airtel is the worst i would say

Refusal of tatasky to solve problems, apparently because their operators are afraid of local cable operators

My name is Sugandha Johar, and I live in a society called Palash, at Wakad in Pune. My tata sky account is 1031228222.


Our society has a big tatasky dish, and over 200 apartments of our society have tatasky connection through that dish.

Now when I contacted Tatasky, I am told that they will not give any service to us, and all in our society as they fear the local cable operators in the region.

I demanded to talk to the management - some one, I think the name was Najma, parroted the same line and disconnected the line in my mid-sentence.

This totally unacceptable. I demand the service I was promised when I paid my money to buy their set top boxes.

I do hope you will take up the matter and ensure that I do get the service I was promised

Complaint against DISH DTHd

Dish DTH is cheating customers. I have subscribed for The New South Silver Cricket Pack where India Cricket Pack is an offer where the matches played by India & Brought by any channel is to be telecast live. Now the matches played by India in Australia is brought by Star Cricket. Dish DTH is not giving this service. Instead they want me tO subscribe tO this channel by paying charges for 3 months @ 40 Rupees per month for a minimum period of 3 months

against the cable operator

Guy ……..we are the service provider of DTH in Navi Mumbai I need to know where to complain against cable operator. Day by day they are troubling to ours guy.I have been complaining to police but no one ready to stop all this thing..now every time he says give the name who has beaten or cable operator name .how we now there name . they come in group and beat the guy and run off………police also not supporting to us. Major area farm society (sec-11 and sec-12 Koparkhairane,sec-23 juinagar,sec-14 and sec-20 bealpur,kharghar sec-1 to sec-35,khanda colony sec-1 to sec-10).there are 15 lac customer who are feedup against the cable service they are ready to install the DTH service of any company but the cable operator are against to install the DTH service in there area so what TO DO PLS REPLY
