Worst Broadband ever

I have taken a 50 mbps plan from Hathway, However, the speed never goes beyond 2-3 mbps. The upload speed is slow that I am unable to upload the speed test screen shots here. Moreover their customer service is pathetic. Most of the time one will fail to get through. I am now stuck with this for next 3 months. I will never recommend anyone for this. Guys please do not waste time and money for this. This does not even qualify for half a star.

Extremely Slow Speed Bad Customer support

very very bad ad poor coustumer support.

Hi,
My name is Shylesh and my Hathway account no is 1129708.
My Broadband cable is broken outside my home. And it is been broken by hathway cable services people. Here by I have been complaining to hathway coustumer care from past 1 week and just 2 days back they send a person and he came and around 2 hours he passed his time talking to his friend and he just left like that from there. And while going he called me once and said the cable wire is broken he will come tomorrow morning and fix it but he never tuned up. His no is +91 97 42 268273. I called coustumer Care next day telling all this and thay said by morning it will be fixed. Again nobody turned up next day also. So again I called up customer Care telling the same problem. And they just said we are very sorry will 100% fix it by tomorrow morning. I was very irritated and siad if by tomorrow you are not fixing I will not pay the bill of this month. And they said ok don't worry will shorly fix the connection by tomorrow morning. And nobuday turnd up next day aslo... Now what shuld I do? It's hights of patients someone can bare.. They just ruined my whole one week and lose of so much work and money....

Always Deactivating connection for no reason

Fucking connection.
I used 4 moth hatway connection.
Every month they used to disconnect my connection by saying bill not paid.
even it is paid in one month advance alway.

Also the cusotomer care also extreamly worst.

Never go for hathway , better go for any other

One of the worst ISPs

I have put up with this ISP for such a long time since I didn’t want to keep changing connections every now and then! But, after five long years of the worst possible pre-paid service, I finally couldn’t tolerate this frustration any more!

I now have an Airtel 4G since 1 month and its rocking! No problems with connectivity or speed till date.

False billing by Hathway - Bangalore

One of the worst service and cheap technique by Hathway to get Business.

I had opted for Quarterly plan 50 Mbps with 25 BG per month. The first week itself i registered complaint that i was getting only 1.5 Mbps speed, the technician responded to the complaint after 25 days and told us that their WIFI speed will be reduced by using ROUTER. They asked me to connect to LAN cable to get the desired speed. The technician did not have any other explanation to handle the situation.

This being the second month, i was getting 25Mbps but now there is a twist with Hathway. They sent a message last week that i have already consumed 100% of the Usage limit. While going through the records, they have shown i have downloaded 39GB data in 4 days while i had practically downloaded only 3 GB data. I sent a screen shot of my download & also registered a complaint but there was no response. Yesterday i went to their office @ Ulsoor and the Manager gave me stupid explanation that Modem is password protected & that is the most secured Broadband service. Customer has only downloaded the data & Hathway does not have any system to check & confirm if the downloaded information is genuine.

Customers using HATHWAY are provided with Account wherein your data is not captured REAL TIME. The data usage is visible to customers only after 72 hours (3 days). In my case they have shown data 39GB downloaded in 1 day & had they were not able to record incidents of download.

These guys fudge data usage to bill & mention the customer has used 100% data within the plan period. They put us in a situation that Customers will be forced to pay extra and get the connection renewed. They have already secured advance payment from customer for the quarterly plan.

My Humble request to all, Please DO NOT opt HATHWAY for any broadband connection.

I have choosed 50 Mbps plan n i get only 5 to 10 mbps..... its a worst broad band i have ever seen

I have choosed 50 Mbps plan n i get only 5 to 10 mbps..... no proper support frm customer care.
They take money for 50 mbs n doesnt provide even 10mbps constant....its a worst service provoder...

Disconnection

It took 3 days to install the modem after putting the cable. It got disconnected 3 times within a day, have to use my Airtel 4G dongle to write this review. Always takes 24 hour for technical help.

On the other hand it is faster than wat they offer, it gose to more than 50 mbps speed. Browsing is fun in that speed. I do most of my work with internet, updating blog, creating ads, etc.

Now I am confused this is good or bad. Good speed but unreliable connection. Anybody got an idea.?

Am here again today, my net got disconnected again. Now Am sure, no more confusion, its bad connection, hathway is bad, Worst part is I paid for coming 3 months.there is no refund also.

think twice before taking hath way, may be every house got there cable setup box, but in internet they are pain in @#$%^.

F***King Customer serviceq

They are giving customer service or enjyoing with d**ks in office i dont know .Our technician will call in 15 minutes ....but no call.Issue will clarify in 2 hours .......wt the ***uk i have do for 2 hours ................never take this service take any local one it is better than hathway idiots

Non responsive behavior

I have been facing a very strange problem. Everytime i log onto my internet connection, the connection goes offline every 10 seconds thus, making it impossible to work online or browse. My complaints to the customer care fell on deaf ears. I have been facing this for the past 3 months. After a long and tiring attempts to reach to the Nodal officer 2 months back, a technician was despatched who, conveniently replaced the modem with another worn-out modem. This gave a temporary relief but Bingo! The same problem surfaced. Every 10 seconds after logging in, it says, " a local area network has been disconnected". I want this stupid Hathway connection terminated. And i want my money paid in advance (Post paid connection) to be reimbersed.

Hathway Broadband - Worst service provider

Never go for hatway broadband, you would never find good service at any time and top of this most of time no internet and support desk is very.......bad. Never take there connection they are cheater.

They just wana to take money from your pocket and after that customer has to go in to hell, no one there to listen or return your money. Once you make three months payment then forget your amount and there is no possibility to get back.

Never go for hathway.

Beware of Online Payment in Hatway Regarding New Router Facility

I have made an online payment to buy a new router (bill# 9538033) from Hathway Broadband @Rs.1050 on Sunday, 30th March 2014 and the customer Care executive confirms me that you will get your router within 48 hours, but it is 3rd of April 2014 (Thursday), I haven’t received my router. Whenever I called on Hathway Customer Care, they told me every time that visit your nearest store at Hathway. I went there to register my complaint, I literally shocked, the executive was watching porn movie and told me that we don’t know about the online payment and we don’t bother about that. No one is helping me in this regard.

Servive of Hathway is not Good

Hi All,
MY experience in Hathway broadband & cable is not good.

Allways there will be a link down, u have to call # 080-40161616 , for which u have to pay. On daily basis , i have to call them.
so my recomendation is , dont go for hathway, better go for Airtel. service is good

downgrade net speed

My account # 894211, am using the prepaid connection, broadband plan was flash 2 max qtrly( fup 512kbps after 48 gb and validity is 3 Months )when ever i cal to your customer care # 080-40161616 they will explain that i completed the 48gb, as per the above mention plan( 2months 15days)so speed was downgraded. i can't understand what speed as downgraded is it download speed or upload speed, u r marketing executive promised me that if i completed 48gb before 3months my net speed will be constant (512kbps) ..but my net speed is very down....Download speed is 116.72 and upload speed is 106.00...??????????????????????????????????????????????????......

Unexpected of changing plan

Sir,

I have the connection of Blast 384 Kbps Unlimited plan and suddenly they have changed to limited version of 8gb without any prior notice. Would like to file a complain against this plan. Is this a fraudism against the active customers? I think we all have the paper proof evidence when we have taken the connection and we customers should file a case against Hathway Broadband Internet.
