Non-delivery of pillows and missing items of my ordered Double bed

Against my Order No. 2000144724, two number of Pillows of some other customer have been delivered to me but my ordered memory pillows of correct specifications are yet to be delivered (which are of much higher specifications and price) in spite of my personally visiting and contacting the concerned salesman of Home Town (To be supplied along with PEPS make mattress SpingKoil Bonnell 78x72x6 size - Mattress however delivered).This is a serious matter and not expected from a reputed stores like yours, based on which I reposed my faith but could not yet get satisfactory services.

Apart from this, some of the boards and other components of White colour Double bed are found to be missing in the box when opened for assembly by your assembler. As a result, this bed is still lying half assembled in my flat causing lot of inconvenience to us. This complaint/information has been already reported by your assembler to concerned authorities of Home Town.

You are therefore, requested to please urgently resolve above issues and deliver me urgently the correct Pillows to me along with all missing items of my double bed and quickly arrange its assembly.

Non delivery of Mattress / Pillow

I have purchased a Bed with Mattress along with Pillow on 6th Sep 2017. The Bed was delivered 10th Sep, but the Mattress was agreed mutually to be delivered on 30th Sep. It is now been long chasing to get Mattress / Pillow to get delivered even after making lot of calls to their CC & help desk.
They have not left any option for me but to report the issue to Police & get FIR registered along with a case in Consumer Court with Harassment Case to file up.

GIP-Hometown — 3 memory form pillows of peps brand yet not delivered - bill date was 22 Jan 2017

The date of delivery was 23 Jan 2017, then changed thrice approximately over the phone,
Seems the item was to be gifted to someone else as the delivery is still not done.

Contacted Hometown staff several time, now they have stopped giving the delivery dates.

change in quantity of item purchased

Dear sir,

I Purchased one dinning Table which has 4 chair one Bench and one Table and also purchase one lamp table on 15th jan-2017 with order no 2000135467 for which delivery date is 29th jan-17, total item were 7 but got message on my mobile on 16th jan-2017 stating 5 item under this order.

I call today your customer care to inquire and rectify the mismatch and he told me that there are 2 chair in this by order and told me that i will get call back from the concern department to rectify the issue but till time i have not received any call.

It is my humble request please confirm me on my query, if there are two chair in my order then please cancel my order and refund my payment as dinning table was sold to me by showing set of one table, 4 chair and one bench.

Hope early resolution as items are not delivered to me.

I have seen a white centre table model (SIRUS) price was Rs. 17,000/- . Next week i visited GIP Noida hometown again and found the table with same price. The home town person changed the price tag in front of me saying now it is Rs. 20,000/-. I had words with floor manager also and requested him to give me table on previous price and denied. Any store can not change the price in front of customer. If store want to change the price he has to do the the needful store closing hours not in public hours.

Still I'm ready to take the table but on previous price only.

Pls revert.

Non delivery of goods

I have bought a dining table and 6 chairs from Home Town Noida and paid for it in full on 07 October 2016. The delivery date for this was 19 October. Till date I have not received the status. After follow ups with their useless customer care for the entire day and transfer of phone from one person to the other in a different departments, I still do not know the status of the goods.

They are simply harassing the customer after having taken complete payment.

non delivary of Mattresses

I was supposed to received the Mattresses on 30th August, today is 9th September, 2016, nothing happened.
Writing this review, while I am hold for last 10 minutes, from 9223355999.
Calling everyday, to 9223355999
The reply, Checking, and then no body picking in the store, will come back, but no response.
Given a number on 9th afternoon, 8377806535, service Manager, Sarkar, response Phone Switched Off,

Whoever is reading, pls. do not buy from Hometown,
Will update status.

I have purchased sofa set from home town gip noida which was to be delivered on 28.9.16 but till date it is not delivered. I called twice but customers representative has no idea at all except to say sorry every time. Till today I have no idea as to when I will get the product. I paid entire amount on 15.8.16 and after payment feeling cheated.

Low quality channels of bed and almirah and dressing table,not ready to replace channel

I purchased a bed set(with side racks) which had Dressing table ,3 piece Almirah and Mattress with it for Rs 57399/- after a discount of Rs92601/-(Total amount was 1,45,000 + 5,000 of mattress). All the channels got loosened and the none of the drawers could be moved. On complaint ,their technician Guddu visited our house and told to buy the channels and he would replce them as the channels fitted by Home town were of low quality. We bought the channels and told the technician(Guddu) on phone to fit them. He astonishing response was that the furniture was not sold by Home town and would they would not replace the channels. We went to GIP,Home Town and showed them the Invoice to the Sales Manager(Mr. Rohit) and the Stores Manager and they assured that they will send the technician the next day. Other technician Parvesh visted and replaced only 5 channels and told us to bring more as all the channels are faulty. We brough the channels the same day and called daily and he made false promises for coming. On contacting the Sales Manager(Mr. Rohit),he also denied that the product was not purchased from Home town and the Invoice has only detail of the bed and not of Almirah and dressing table and would not be repaired by them. Invoice no.135248013,Buyer order no. 2000035043. After a followup of months no one is able to hear.

Customers are requested not to purchase furniture from Home town as it is of poor quality and poor service and has irresponsible Managers in it like Mr. Rohit

damaged sofa delivered

one sofa delivered to my house on 22april14 from noida (u.p.) showroom. its fabric is found damaged (having cut on two

places, see picture attached) today when ur associate came to install stand on it & he removed

polythine from the back (which was left uncovered by delivery person quoting that it will be

removed by the person who will assemble stand

i want immediate refund/replacement with new sofa of same. moreover i need reciept of

rs400/- charged for delivary but not mentioned on invoice.

Delivery of Defective Product

I booked a Set of Carolina Chairs on 22nd Oct 2013 vide Order no. 2000102817. I received a SMS on 9th Nov 2013, informing the delivery of the items within 24 hrs. However, the delivery never occurred on 10th nor on 11th Nov 2013. After lot of follow-ups and also lodging a complaint (no. 0005022651) regarding the same, the chairs were finally delivered in the evening on 13th Nov 2013.

On delivery, the products appeared to be OK. But to my utter surprise, it was discovered later that one of the chair has been delivered with a broken leg. While trying to contact the customer care immediately, I found the phone was not answered, which I finally could contact this morning. While the person answered the phone told me that he will contact me with their plan for rectification, I'm still awaiting for the same after passage of more than one hour.

With the above experience, it will be very hard to believe that the company care for its customers, let alone practise CRM or CEM for effective business.

Non Delivery of Mattress Order no 2000099114/ 2000099455

I have brought one Kurlon Mattress on 15/06/13 and made 100% payment in advance. Schedule of Delivery was 20/6/13. The Hometown matterss divn. sales person when conducted they said there was some internal payment problem and my order will be delivered on 25/6/13. Mattress was not delivered and they said they will give replacement mattress on 26/6/13. On 27/6/13 they informed that they are sending standby mattress which is of bigger size than what I have ordered and will not fit in my bed and asked them not to deliver that same. They said that matter with Kurlon has been resolved and will be able to deliver by 29/6/13. Again on 29/6/13 they said the mattress has arrived and next day I.e. on 30/6/13 the mattress will be delivered. I have checked with them on 30/6/13 morning and they confirmed the date of delivery. But at 10:00 P.M.on 30/6/13 they said they are unable to deliver the same and will deliver by tomorrow. To my surprise I have received a mail stating, "As per request the delivery for order no. 2000099455 is rescheduled on 10.07.2013".I have never requested to reschedule the delivery date, in fact I have asked to cancel my order if it is not been delivered by 30/06/13 and want my money back.

I don't find any other alternative but to lodge a complain on Consumer forum on this issue.

Non delivery of product

I have bought a LG refrigerator on 26th of jan 2013 and at time of purchasing i have clearly told that persones that i want the delivery in first half of the weekday because my office timing is from 2 pm except saturday they said ok we will deliver it in first half on tuesday but now it almost one week and i have not got the delivery till dated 01-feb 2013 yet and now the person named kshitij is saying that we can only deliver after 3 pm. Now i just want to cancel my deal and want my money back. there is no any responsibility is showed by the staff of ezone toward the consumer, they have not called me a single time and asked that i got my delivery or not.

Pathetic customer service ... No response at all, no one seems to be responsible enough to even respond.
I bought goods worth Rs. 1.8 lacs from GIP, Noida. the same was suppose to be delievered with in 2 weeks .... even after 4 weeks I got only some of the goods ordered. then for a week the Furniture what I had received was lying at my home and there was no one to do the fittings.No one @ Hometown even bothers that what is your ( customer's ) problem. they keep on postponing delivery dates and fitting guy visits at their own will.. Even the goods received are not polished well.
I recently got married and had asked my wife to take leave for this stupid work but people at hometown hardly understand the importance of our time.
for past 10 days its like today / tomorrow is the response which I'm getting from the people when I call on the no. menitoned on my advance receipt. I just wanted to ask one question from the higher Authorities @ Hometown... did I , even for a moment said that I will pay you tomorrow or I will make a partial payment... I mean in Today's era how can you be so reluctant with customer service or it seems that you are completely reluctant to understand the customer requirement and not at all bothered about customer satisfaction level.
For sure in future, I would never ever buy anything from Hometown nor I would advise any of my known to buy it from hometown... Infact my biggest mistake was to order my house furniture @ Hometown.
First you people dont deliver the furniture on time then we should wait for your fitting guy. the goodwhat I have received yesterday was suppose to be received by me 4-5 days back as I got the confirmation call from home town, then next day when i called back someone told me that the can not deliver the good that day they will deliver it tomorrow then next the same story got repeated. finally yesterday i got the center table and dressing table ideally when its already delayed from your end you should have send someone yesterday itself but no one visited even today....

no one seems to be responsible and answerable.. I'm just stuck...... PEOPLE ATHOMETOWN DO everything at their own will.

I have bought furniture from hometown for which the details are mentioned below. I believe that nothing affects on deaf ears @ hometown. I complaint about the service and feedback in my earlier tailed mail but not even a single revert. . . I m being optimistic writing again to get a revert and a solution.
advance receipt no. is #2000079306,. and second advance receipt that we have is hand written and the receipt no. is 2781, dated 10th jan 2012. registered no. with hometown is 9560920807. from hometown someone was suppose to visit for polishing and finishing. someone called on Sunday morning that he would visit on Sunday afternoon I informed him that I m out of station and he can come on Monday around 4:00pm. but guy visited on Sunday itself and then fighting with me that I told him Sunday only and not Monday. to the fact that I was not in town why the hell I.ll ask your guy to visit. . .
Can u please check and send someone to do the required. its more than 3 weeks that I'm following up on the same. but staff at hometown seems to have instructed and do things as per their own will. seeking your immediate action.
there is no system at all, no customer care. . nothing. talking at the so called customer care locally is the utter waste of time.
one thing I'm sure off that you sell only ones and you don't have loyal customers or repeated buying.

No words to describe the pathetic experience while transacting with Hometown ,they have the worst customer service section , don't have a recorded line for customer care records , their executive talks rubbish and top of it have no respect about the fact that we are the customers and they are their to serve us , to assist us till the time we are not satisfied. But i doubt on the business values provided by the organisation to its employees.

In my lifetime would never make aq purchase again from '' hometown '' ,rather ' Hell town '' . Neither would never ever recommend anyone to buy home stuff or any furniture from hometown.

yes you r very correct, the Hometown sales guys most of them don't deserve to be there at all they are just spoiling the Company's name. I wounder if there is anyone taking any action or not.?

Casual Sales Personnel GIP Washing Machine Section

This is reg casual attitude of one sales person ( unfortunately I dont know his name ) in Home Town GIP Noida who was around in teh Washing machine section when we purchased a top loading cherry colour LG product couple of weeks back. My point in writting to you is to complain about teh casual behaviour of this person as todate he has not honoured his commitment to have our old washing machine sold as buy back from his so calle dtall claims of vendors. No basic customer service of calling back and intimation...pathetic CS...once sale is made they are least bothered...No wonder we rank so appaling in CS....and to top it his boss also assured that in a day it wud be resolcved ...nothing happened...Its not that we have still kept the old product with us ...Had to discard it as it was taking space its just that how undependable these so called big show room Sales reps are who just cud not be bothered about CS.
