Request for refund of money

Recently few days ago I have tried to book e-railway tickets on irctc Application on 6th day of may ...but unfortunately I have failed to book my tickets but I have been charged for such tickets INR 1950 through my bank debit card.. for said transaction I have received the failed transaction ID which I am attaching this mail... kindly look into the matter and solve it as soon as possible...

Non giving of monthly ticket at New Garia local station

On 31.10.17 I came to new garia local station for new monthly ticket at around 8.40 am, then I have told that one voter card Xerox copy and one passport size photo is required. I have gone around a kilometer for the xerox but when returned the person (one lady) who was supposed to give the ticket refuses to give me. Saying that please come after 2pm. Then I understand the problem that few peoples were standing behind me so I waited for around 30 min but after that the crowd was gone and then she can easily give me the monthly ticket but she refuses to do so. When I asked for some reason she had no answer, when I asked for the manager she refuses to give me the same, also when asked that if any notification is there she used filthy language in such a manner that you will feel very embarrassed with you own, this is totally a shamefully act. Please do need ful for the above and give me suitable reason for such an act.

Delay of Refund of TDR

Dear Sir,
I am a heartiest consumer/customer of the Indian Railways but during the last few months the proceedings of the railways (some special branches) have been quite disturbing. This is basically a complaint from myself directly to the Railways for such a delay in refund of money against TDR application. The situation is this.....on 11/11/2016 my father had booked tickets....but for certain reasons he had to cancel the same and then filed a TDR application on 2/01/2017 and submitted it in the Eastern Railway Office of C.C.M (refunds). The officials there verbally assured that a maximum of 3months time might take for the refund. Again on 28/04/2017 we were informed that my father's application was assigned to dealer (no. ############). According to the officials there this was the ultimate step against the refund. Then upto 25/07/2017 there was not a single action taken....so on the same day my father filed a written complain about this delay to the C.C.M (PM) Eastern Railway....but till date there has been no positive action from eastern railway refunds office. More of all some officials also misguided us verbally.
I am extremely agitated to the situation and i see no hope. My earnest request is to the railways....that please take immediete action and I would like my refund as soon as possible.

On Friday, my mom, Krishna Singh ( B-2, 36) was travelling all towards YPR on Train no. 12863, Seat no. B-2, 36. while on the way to HWH Railways station 2-3 police blocked me and ask for scanning the luggage near the counter no. 22. After the Scanning process done, 2 guys follows us till we get on the train. I was thinking why the guys are following us. As we are not carrying such heavy luggage or in such looks. Only after the scanning process, they started to follows us, then at night the baggage which contains all gold items worth Rupees 72000 and cash Rs.18000 was taken away. The baggage was cut on that particular part only which contains the gold items and cash. Other items are remain like untouched
My question is how they came to knows about the exact location of the gold and cash. As the police authority only knows, whats are the items in the baggage and in which part or place.
So, I must say that the railways police and thieves are co-operating with each other surely. I just want justice for me. please help me out of this soon.

Harassment on ranikhet express by fellow passengers

This is to inform you that we were harassed by our fellow passengers travelling on 15013/Ranikhet express. They were travelling on s1 seat no.1,2,3,4 while we were travelling on seat numbers 5,6,7. We were harassed and not allowed to keep our luggage or take our seats. I, am physically handicapped while my husband is a senior citizen. Kindly take appropriate actions at your earliest. I booked a eticket for my uncle for journey on 31/10/2015. The train was late more than 3 hours so he did not board the train. The very next day i.e. 01/11/2015 I filed a TDR for refund. TDR Transactions Details

Now the refund status shows Invalid TDR Timemap: Delay.

Hence, I request you to immediately process my refund claim. Such tactics of denying refund should be avoided.

Excess fare charged for Sr. Citizen

Excess fare has been charged towards booking of tickets from Bangalore-Chennai for the dates 01/7/2011 to 02/7/2011 vide PNR NO 432-9451353and 432-9451523 of the train no: 12291 and 12292. Instead of offerring 40% concession to Sr.Citizens only 30% has been extended. The commercial circular No:18/2011 dt:13/05/2011 clearly indicates that the tickets booked on or after 01.6.2011 has been given 40% concession to Sr.citizens, whereas the railways not implemented the same and not issuing concession to the Sr.citizens as declared by the HMR during budget.Please anylse the lapse and do the needful to refund the excess fare collected.Early action is highly solicited.

Excess fare charged for Sr. Citizen

Excess Fare for Sr. Citizen
PNR 4427498361 from Cuttack to Howrah on May 21, 2011 by Train No. 12840.

As per recent Railway Budget, Sr. Citizen shall be entitled to 40% discount on fares effective April 01,2011.

The usual fare for the above ticket is Rs 709.00 and with 40% discount the fare charged should have been Rs 425.00. However, fare charged is Rs 545.00.

Are we to understand that the budget proposals have not been implemented ?

Allow Internet railway reservation but follow different route

I don't know, who will fight with Indian Railways. The Customer Care is pathetic, very much mis behaved. They think they are ALL in ALL..

Description of the grievance:
This is very unfortunate that, the IRCTC site does gives us to reserve ticket for the below mentioned train, BUT in actual the train follows a different route. This is a mere harassment for the passenger concerned. This only I came to know, when I call up the Railway enquiry (139) for inquiring about the train status. Came to me as a surprise that train in consideration does not run through that route (Note: BUT can do RESERVATION through online irctc online reservation system)

Their people need to be well trained. They are saying Customer Care, but sad story is they don't know how to care the customer

Schedule of Trains

Indian Railways have a duronto from howrah which is scheduled to reache new delhi at 6am. Mostly it is late by 2 hrs. I catch a connecting shatabdi from new delhi to amritsar which is scheduled to depart at 7:20am. More often than not this connecting train is likely to be missed out because of the delay of the duronto express. Indian railways need to change the timing of the new delhi amritsar shatabdi from 7:20am in the morning to something that is more resonable for people who come from far distances to like 9am.

Fraudulent activity related to ticket reservation

I had booked two 2AC tickets from Sealdah to New Jalpaiguri a whole 2 months prior to date of journey. The reservation status at the time of booking was WL-1 and WL-2. Right upto the date of journey, the status did not move up EVEN BY ONE PLACE, which led to me getting concerned if there was some foul play in the system. This fear of mine was vindicated when on the date of journey I checked the PNR status of my booking after chart preparation. Both the seats were now showing up as RA1-43 which is supposed to indicate that I had been alloted a seat (albeit on sharing basis). However, when I reached the station, my name was not there on the charts, and when I checked my PNR status again, the status had again been relegated to WL-1 and 2. I wonder HOW this is possible.

When I asked the TT at the station why our names were missing from the list while others at WL numbers of more than 20 had been confirmed. He said that this was due to IRCTC bookings not transferring the money to the railways account. Of course, this is not how it works and is utter hogwash. This is the same balderdash that one gets in this situation from any TT across the country. I wonder to what lengths the railways authorities have gone to propagate such myths among its officers, OR IS IT A WAY OF TAKING PEOPLE FOR GRANTED and dealing with such sticky situations with utter nonsense.
