Denied of cashless treatment without any proper reason

policy no: P/############/000298 customer ID: 2847573-1

Dear Sir/Madam,

My father is currently suffering from cerebral attack.

i)This is not a pre-existing disease and not related to pacemaker implantation.

ii)I have filled-up the application form online in consultation with your executive Mrs Jaysudha (In the year 2013).

iii) After paying 4 years premium as per law you are suppose to give me all claim but as I have already paid 3 premium and this is not a pre existing disease also, if you denied the claim it will be a serious contravention of insurance rules and law..

iv)You have recently told me over telephone that after 24 month you give cashless pre existing disease also. Once again I mention this is not a pre existing disease.

v)For getting cashless facility as well as reimbursement I have done this policy, but why you dilly-dally in paying me cashless facility.

You again think this case if you harassed me like this I have no option before me but to take legal resource.

claim No.099655 rejected by bogus Star insursnce co.

The above claim was rejected by the company for the flimsy reason that hospital has not issued case sheet of the patient.(In fact no hospital parts with case sheets).Only bogus insurance companies like Star Health asks for the same to avoid payment of claims.Kindly initiate some action against such companies to avoid mushrooming of bogus companies in future.

Kindly initiate legal action against such companies and see that their shutters are closed forever.

sir my my was kidney diseases and first consult 5th June 2015 in Mediplus hospital in Jodhpur by dr.nitinbajpai my father 6to 7days previous pain chest we going tomediplus hospital with my father dr.say patient will admit 3days ,siy my father policy number p/############/002665 mr.bhanwar lal{self} sir cashless sendig my father report to star health and allied insurance company limited ,, from mediplus hospital Jodhpur,but your company my claim reject, plz me given approval this claim .plz,i am very poor

this is the case of pre-existing dieases and the defination of pre existing dieases is :- either you know or not .
either you treated or not that diseases will come in pre existing, because tumar can not creat in 3 months

i am totally in agreement with mr. ramesh. they are cheating people rather exploiting the ignorance of the poor. i was cheated as late as feb. 2012. when i applied for the policy they did not tell me about medical check up. one week after collecting cash they asked me to go for a medical check up. then i was issued with certificate stating that cvd excluded. i checked with the agent who had no clue about cvd. then i checked with the great branch manager who explained cvd. i was told that there is some problem in ecg. i was really worried. then i had two other ecgs which were perfectly normal. i went to the manager and asked him how is it possible to have problem in your ecg. he said i quote our ecgs are read by 'EXPORT' doctors. see the standard of star health branch manager. then i went to doctor who read the ecg on the company's behalf. he said that he only had a small doubt. and he said that the ecg. is to be read in the presence of the person and if any doubt to be seen by a specialist. the authorities please confirm is this the policy of star health. then i went back to the great manager who was very arrogant and non-co-operative.he told me to have an echo test and tmt. which i did and it was perfectly normal. i had to spend about inr. 3500 for the same and all the trouble moving forth and back. when i brought the certificate he said that i have to get it in their form for which i had to go to the doctor again. ultimately i got my corrected certificate on the 6th of june. i paid the money on the 9th of feb. the agent is number one cheat. i do not want to continue this policy. if any competent authority from start health is through this mail and is interested in their business can revert to my email id [email protected] i have not revealed the names of the persons but will do so at the appropriate time. for the kind information of all who read this to not get cheated by star health insurance

unfair practising while renewing policy

i had policy for 1 lack since two year and premium was2700rs. Now they send agent with renewal latter
after window period and tell me that you must take 2 lack sum insure and premium is 7725/-rupees for family health optima.My policy no.P/171217/############. I had not claim since i had take policy for family.

Claim rejected saying PED

My Husband had undergone a Right THR surgery in March and the hospital bill was about 1,76,000/-
we had submitted for reimbursement with star and our claim no. 107209
and we had a Star Health Insurance policy which is 4 years old and we had taken this policy in June 2007 (it was Family Floating Plan)
and June 2011 level they charged 3 times of my renewal amount saying my claim is processing if i do not renew i will not get the claim.
and till date i am going pillar to post but no claim and now they say it is a PED and claim is reject.

my husband had not any previous illness till Feb 2011.
star health is growing with public money that should not be allowed
they have taken my 3 times my renewal amount and if i claim for that also their is no response form them.

i have payed total of 30,000/- to star till date.
i will fight for the same.
