Transaction sucessful but failed recharge

I have in the afternoon today(2nd Apr 2011) recharged Tata sky ID no 1009009786 for Rs 500.
In my bank a/c debit has come but no confirmation from Tat sky in the form of SMS not received.Normally this confirmation comes immediately.

zeetos reward

tata sky is fraud.i ordered my game mitashi wireless game on 10 jan 11.they told it will be deliverd within 15 days. but they delivered. the product after 60days.the toy was not which i ordered it was small beyblade.this company is fraud cheateer.... my subscriber id is 1045282645.pls contact me .my no :- 9320319333.

False claims of In

I subscribed to the India Cricket Pack of Tata Sky DTH a month ago.

When I called them up because they weren't airing the warm-up matches of the world-cup, I was told that only international matches (not series) of which India is a part will be telecast. I am shocked because I'd signed up for the package after reading their terms and conditions which claimed to air all the series matches in which Indian cricket team played on the channel.

I hereby quote one of the terms and conditions on their website for this package which they have violated :

The India Cricket Channel will continue to air the entire Cricket Matches series irrespective of India dropping out of the Cricket Matches series at any time. In the highly unlikely event that India is playing in another international cricket match after dropping out of the Cricket Matches series then such international cricket match will be given precedence and shall be shown on the India Cricket Channel instead of the remaining Cricket Matches series.

Tata Sky not transparent in service terms thru their website

I have been a subscriber of Tata Sky for a couple of years now. I had opted for an Optional Pack sometime back using my Account on their website, as I wanted to watch a particular channel for just a month. I was shocked to know that once a subscriber opts for an optional pack/channel, s/he can't withdraw within 90 days - something which was not mentioned while I opted for the channel, but cleverly informed when I wanted to withdraw it a month later. Though I have reported this non-transparent business practice to their Customer Care, as well as written to their Helpdesk, I have no response on this strange practice. Though I ended up paying for the optional package/channel for 3 months instead of the desired 1 month, I have reported this on this website to forewarn Tata Sky subscribers who may not be aware of this practice. I certainly didn't expect this from a business group with a 'Century of Trust' as their motto.

Your CSR service is to bad they dont provide the right information and ask to recharge for annual pack if some one is not having money for annual recharge then they will tell u have to pay extra charges i am suffred this problem 4 times if ask cancellation then they give me some flase offer which is not valid at all. They will refund your money also.

its total a third class service i am not satisfied i lost Rs 3000 and they are not providing refund also.

Please dont buy tata sky at all.

Setup box faulty

My tatasky setup box was not working from 22nd of Nov i complained at helpdesk for more than 10 times , every time the customer representative told me that I’ll receive a call from concern department within 24 hours but all in vain. I am mentally very retard by this type of behaviour of tata sky.

No Service given despite of repeated complaints


My Tata Sky ID is 1022488918. My Digicomp is not receiving & despite of repeated complaints to tata sky customer service no engineer has turned up. I have raised 3 complaints so far on 3 consecutive days & am fed up with the similar reply of "our engineer will call you in 2hours" but nobody calls. This is simply outrageous from a company like tata. Complaint no. is 1-8131699672. I am not even getting the actual service centre no.

Monthly charges for Neo sports and Neo cricket


I have been using Tata sky for more than 2 years. Recently i wanted to add Neo sports and Neo cricket channels to my package (Sports Gold pack). Previously the company used to offer monthly rentals for the same. Recently the company changed its policy by offering a monthly package, but stipulating that the package could not be dropped for a minimum of 120 days (3 months). This essentially means that i have to pay money for 3 months even though i want to view that particular channel only for a month.

The change in the policy by the company is allowing the company an unjust enrichment at the expense of the consumer like me.

Executive becomes fool to the customers

Product Booked on 26th, september, 2010. and got delivery of setup box on 27th and i am making complaint fpr installation but the executive is making fool to the customer that from last 3 day the executive is giving time taht he will come at 2'o clock, 4'o clock and from last 3 days they are making fool to customers .

First they are giving me 24hours time while i am booking order and after delivery they are making fool that the tat is 72 hours Mr VIVEK the executive of that company has booked my order

Service Support

My remote was not working. I complained on 11th Sep at 1045hrs. I was told that paid service / replacement would be attended between 48 to 72 hrs. Despite my repeated complain on call centre number on 13th/14th nothing was done. On 15th I made a complain to withdraw connection then at about 1400 hrs remote was replced on payment.

I am writing this just highlight the sorry state of affair of Tata Sky services in Thane(W). Your call centre people or local service support office hardly providing any services to the consumers. My connection is not working properly since 08-Aug-10. I have made repeated requests, written e-mails, called n no of people at your call centre but there is no response and your local office is not ready to attend it.
And to my surprise today I received a SMS(form 9241156633) that my complaint has been attended and closed, where as nobody has visited to attend and problem still persists.

Dear Service provider,
Further to my mail below, finally one service engineer visited on 17-Aug-10 and resumed the connection.
Now my connection is connected with dish of my upstairs’ neighbours. Now my Tata sky works only when their digicom is switched on.
Again on 18-Aug-10 I contacted your call centre spoke to one Ms Sushma my complaint was registered (no 1-7433670098) with same tall claims of providing service in next 24 hrs. But till today i.e. 20-Aug-10 (21.00 hrs) nobody has turned up.
If you cannot provide service kindly discontinue my connection.

This is further to my mail dated 11-Aug-10. I am again sending the date & event diary for the
# On 8-Aug-10 complaint lodged for no signal. Got the assurance that it will be attended in next 24 hrs. But nobody turned up for next 48 hrs.
# Again I contacted on 10-Aug-10 and there was the same standard reply that ‘will attend it within next 24 hrs’.
# Again I contacted on 11-Aug-10 call centre at 17.00 hrs, and I was assured that at least I will get a call from some higher up in next 4 hrs. Nobody contacted even in next 24 hrs.
# On 12-Aug-10 got a contact with one of your service engineer (Mob. No.9870812637), but he said because of personal reasons he can not come but will send somebody from his office. But again nobody turned up. Again called on your helpline no. and with the Mersey of TATA SKY I was connected to one SENIOR of your call centre “Mr. SAGAR”. He again assured that I will get a call in next 4 hrs. But as usual again there was no call back.
# Again I contacted on 13-Aug-10 at 17.00 hrs, spoke one Mr. RAHUL and repeated the whole story, also requested him to connect me to MR. SAGAR, he checked and refused to do so, but assured that my complaint will be attended in next 24 hrs and also I will get a phone call in next 4 hrs.
Guess “Did I receive a call ? Answer is very simple “NO”.
# Finally on 14-Aug-10 with great Mersey of God and Tata Sky, one service engineer came. He worked in his own style. Wire was broken from one or two points. We asked him to replace the wire ( I am ready to pay for this ). But without listening he went on putting the multiple joints. Resulted in solving the problem but with poor quality of signal. But still I was thankful to TATA sky for solving the problem.
# Now to my surprise today on 15-Aug-10, the problem is back to square one. Again the link has broken, there is no signal, again TATA SKY is not working.
I am feared of going through the same pain for one full week again to contact and get the problem solved and that too just for few hrs.
My question is :
(1) Is this the way of working of Tata sky?
(2) Is this the standard of service support of Tata Sky?
(3) Is this the attitude of Tata sky call centre people, service engineers and above all the SENIORs?
(4) Is there anybody in this whole organisation who is really concerned about customer care?

Its better to get rid of Tata sky and disconnect the connection for ever.

Wrong package sold

TATA SKY has differnt package . I have bought their super saver package . Which on their website has mentioned features that Hungama Channel will be shown in all language. Once i bouth and paid them for Haly yearly we came to know that hungama is not coming in enlish. I have reported 5 complints online on tata sky portal though all were closed by agents without informing me. When i called up call center they said that this will not come in enlish they are sorry but they won't refund my money. I have taken all screen shots every thing. I am really planning to take the case with consumer court. This is not issue of 5000 rupess it's cheating and then not responsing to customer once they got payment.
