Fouling of overhead transmission lines

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a resident of No 4, Rajalaksmi Nagar 4th Main Road, Madipakkam, Chennai-600091.
The main overhead distribution line in the fourth main road is sagging too low and as a result even low winds or bird flocking on the lines lead to fouling of the adjacent phases. Further, the lines in the end of the road are surmounted by tree branches which keeps the lines ( phases ) pushing closer to each other, and even the slightest disturbance is creating shorts and spark over. This fouling is happening at regular intervals ( ~ 10-20 times/day).
This in turns creates surges and spikes in the entire distribution system and the household equipment chatter leading to frequent repairs and replacements, specifically UPS failures.
Request the concerned to look into the matter and rectify the same at the earliest.

Low voltage

Facing low voltage issue and flatuation through the day and night. Electric appliances are ruined and old people and kids are suffering due to lack of sleep and rest.
We are raising the complaint on behalf of madipakkam srinivasa nagar people.
Called to the eb board multiple times yet no response.
Do the needful at the earliest. Thanks.

Low voltage issue

Very low voltage
I am staying in Srinivasanagar Madipakkam, really power is going very low voltage in the night after 9:30 PM, could not able to sleep properly, ac is on running but compressor could not able to run due to low voltage. I agree so many people are using ac due to very hot summer. But we are paying too much power bill also, I hope this is known to every one in madipakkam area. But is there any action being taken for adding of more transformers in required place? If not please take immediate action, our kids are suffering a lot in the night due to hot summer even in august. Due to this fluctuation voltage my power bill also getting increased, any how I am managed to pay the bill. I hope so many people suffering same like me, even eletricty people itself saying madipakkam area is like this only. But why the action is not being taken?? Please save us.....

Low voltage and frequent power cut

I am staying at srinivasa nagar madipakkam.. From the day we moved into madipakkam during April 2016, we gave been facing low voltage issue which is now become our part of life, but in recent days there is frequent power cuts, too many fluctuations etc which is making our life's miserable, especially with senior citizens and toddlers it's becoming difficult to manage... Will the concerned authorities take necessary action????

But in recent days there is frequent power cuts which is making our life miserable...will the relevant officials take necessary action????

Power supply not provided after electric Bill Paid

I am staying in Sadasivam nagar, 239A, 6th main road, Madipakkam. Due to One day late Power connection has been disconnected without any notice my knowledge. Still the power supply not connected even paid power bills information passed to EB office staff via phone several time. Kindly check and solve the Issue immediately

Very Poor power supply

I am staying in KUBERAN NAGAR EXTN. 11th Street Madipakkam since February, 2016. I put complaint in the month of March, 2016 to set right the power supply as due to low voltage and fluctuation even fans are not running and tv also not getting required power supply and no need to say about A/c.Day by day summer heat is too much and we are unable to sleep well. So far nobody look into it to solve the problem. I request the TNEB to look into it and solve the problem immediately.

Reading Taken not reported tyo cash counter

Dear Sir,

The Reading taken but not reported to office quickly to cash counter so that the consumer stands along time on line and reported still We did not Receive the Readings.I suggests make a transfer reading instant port connected to Eb cash counter to avoid delays and disappointment by consumer . There are Communications Wifi Available to connect Instant Readigs without delay.
The collection to Government also easy.

Reading taken; but not appearing in system.

Meter reading was taken on 13th Jan 16, but it has not been reflected in the system till today 19th Jan 2016 for us to make payment online. Please clarify.

No power for 3 days

I'm residing in Madipakkam Rajaji Nagar 1st Street. There's no power in our area for the last 3 days. The authorities are not providing proper responses. The adjacent streets are having power where as our street is left out. Very poor sub standard TNEB.

PHASE PROBLEM

SIR,
LIVING IN SHANKAR NAGAR, SATYANARAYANA STREET, ULLAGARAM, CHENNAI-600 091, EVERY DAY WE ARE FACING SEVERE PROBLEM OF HAVING ONLY ONE PHASE DESPITE HAVING SPENT FOR 3 PHASE CURRENT.

NOT ABLE TO SLEEP IN THE NIGHT AFTER 12 AM IT GETS SHUT DOWN, A/C AND FANS NOT AT ALL W0RKING

Severe Phase problem

We are residing in 5096, 7th Street, Ram Nagar North Extension, Puzhuthivakkam, Chennai -91.
For more than three weeks, one or two phases go out in the night between 9. p.m. and 10.30 p.m.
We then make about 15 to 20 calls a day to the EB department at Madipakkam. Then people from the
EB department come and rectify the problem. Right after they leave again one or two phases go out.
Again we have to make calls to the EB department and make them come to fix the problem.

We are unable to sleep in the night , our equipments don’t work and we are unable to do productive
work . We are caught up in this routine of calling the EB department to fix the phase problem every
night and in the mornings, sometimes it continues till late in the afternoon.

I would appreciate your help in fixing this problem of overloading , permanently and give us some relief
so that we can carry on with our work smoothly.

Worst Service

Madipakkam is a superb area if well maintained. But these fellows are not at all taking care of the people wellness and very careless.... No good roads, No proper street lights.... I dont know when and how these curses are going to come 2 an end!!!!!!!!!!

POWER CUT

I am residing in madipakkam balayia gardens and the power supply is very worst there. The authorities are not talking any appropriate action for this and we are suffering a lot because of their responsibilities. If we are complaining also they are not responding and the phones are not working or inattentive "ALWAYS".Is this the way the authorities should respond???? DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY..SHAME TO BE HERE.And more over if we fail to pay the electricity bill after the due date they are charging around 100 bugs as compensation. So im asking is these authorities are ready to pay compensation for our sufferings????? No right???????????????????? VAT AN IDEA ............
