I have shifted my house from Gh-8 to Gh-14 in Paschim Vihar and made the request for shifting the connection too on 02nd November 2012 at 2:00pm. But from that date to till now, there is no response from videocon D2h service providers instead of making many call to their customer center. My request number is 138586599 and 138613968.

please take the action earliest.

relocation issues

Hi, I have a Videocon d2h connection ID: 72162594. I had been having lots of problem with the connection. Let me tell you the latest issues that has been "only escalated" from many days.
* On the 27th of Oct I placed a request to relocate my connection to a new address- request number: 137643953 and I was told that someone will be coming to shift the connection to new address in 24 hours. which never happened.
* 28th Oct a complain was raised against the person who was supposed to come for the installation. Complain number 137841731
* 29th Oct again one more escalation 137938556 was done by person calming to be supervisor at the customer care. Still nothing happened with the relocation and I also came to know that this complain was cancelled without my permission.
*31st Oct again i called the customer care department and I asked what is happening in terms of relocation... I got the reply that someone will be coming shotly to get it done
6th Nov no one turned up so I called again and I was again told someone will be coming and fixing the conection
7th Nov No one turned up and again one more escalation happened 139384482.

I might have contacted Videocon 30 times from 27th to till date and nothing is happening. I was given the nodal office number which never works. When I asked my money back for the equipment I got the reply that it cannot be done. Why it cannot be done I purchased the product recently and I as only facing problems with it. If Videocon cannot provide services than why they are charging customer. I had paid Rs 1400 for the installation and equipment. I am only having problems with this connection and I see that I have been cheated for my money. Will consumer court help with with the mental harrasment that I have been facing from the videocon so called "customer Service"

i planned to shift from my old address to my new house just 1 km away from the old address.. so i contacted videocon d2h's customer care and put in a request of removal and reinstallation of the equipment so they filed my request and they gave me a reference number...promising the engineer would visit in 24 hrs...but i didn't got any response...
so next morning i called up again, this time i was promised that the engineer would visit in next 12 hrs...but again i got the same response (no visit and no call at all)...same sequence continued and they gave me 4 reference numbers but NOTHING HAPPENED...
the same way i called up again and this time i had a word with the supervisor and was given a contact number but as usual didn't got any response...so now its been 5 days without any response so finally had to file a complaint here...expecting an early reply atleast now...

I have videocon d2h connection (ID- 52775357) because i thought the name of videocon is first class but videocon is the third class.

starding i face the problem "signal not avilable".

We complaint many times and all time they say sorry sir we promisse now you not face this problem again.

many time they work with my only 8 year son, is the major punishment for this company as per child labour law.

last complaint again file dated 04-sept- 2012 for signal not available properly and channel miss match, but they file only channel miss match,

videocon worker come but again same day signal not available problem comes, and still continuously, and when i complaint at this no. 18008810111, they told "aap line per rahe...aap line per rahe" then they disconnect the call and they say 125/- is charge for service, but i face the problem daily and charges deduction is continuoulsy daily,

I frosted financially and mentally by the videcon "Signal not avialble" problem.

if this not solve in mean time i will complaint in consumer form with all claim.

and i request to all please "DONT PURCHASE ANY THING" where the NAME is mention "VIDEOCON"

Dear Sir/Madam, I Pradeep Panigrahi, my Customer ID 72782193, I had made payment online for rs 1590/- for Videocon d2h satellite on 03/07/2012. I got message on 04/07/2012 installation schedule on 05/07/2012 before 5.00 PM. Till today 07/07/2012 at 6.00 PM no one call to my mobile number for installation d2h. This is really very poor service. I daily call customer care 2/3 times for delay, they told me that today engineer call your no and instillation done today. But Why delay service..

On 22.05.2012 an engineer from Videocon installed Videocon antina. I purchased 19 metres of cable from him and I also paid him Rs. 400.00 in cash (charges of installation Rs. 200.00 + cost of cable Rs. 200.00). Contact / Cell No. of the person is 8862090295.

I done the recharge of Rs. 200.00 online (by credit card) on 22.05.2012.

Since 27.05.2012 suddenly the connection is disconnected. Upon calling to the customer care, they informed me that installation charges worth Rs. 200.00 has been debited to my D2H account (although I have paid that person Rs. 400.00 in cash).

Could you explain me why there is a double charge?

Further, I receive SMS from Vediocon upon every recharge saying your account has been credited by Rs. XX.XX. Even I receive SMS for special promotions.


Upon calling to customer care I immediately receive SMS stating my complain no. 112699386 and THAT WILL GET RESOLVED BY FRIDAY ??? Whay it takes that long time to resolve the issue where THE CUSTOMER IS NOT AT ALL IN ANY FAULT ???

Don't you have any system in place where you can chase the person (send by you for installation) to ask why Rs. 200.00 was not remitted to you ???

Could you please advice your higher authority (email / contact no.) to whom I can escalate further?

fasle promises

I went to buy a DTH connection of a famous brand in Salt Lake City, Kolkata mainly for english language feeds. The dealer was also dealing ion videocob D2H and asked me to take it with a promise that the english language feed(especially for POGO) is available. I took the connection(Customer ID:12669267,Account No :1257330) with 3 months initial viewing without any charge. when I found out that POGO channel did not have english feed I asked the dealer to take back equipment and refund, which he did not. Mean while I complained to VIDEOCON D2H, who snapped the service after 1 month.
This company is fraud, so kindly beaware.
