Hi

Thanks for looking into the issue.
During the exchange offer processing, instead of deactivating the exchanged SD Box:42610368187, the existing SD box :42592048419 is deactivated.
Hence the connection is suspended for the box and i am not able to view the channels.i contacted customer care and got a reply saying i need to wait for 24hours, so that the will audit and see if this is an issue from their side and i was informed to make a follow up call tonight(26-Sep-2012) to check the status.

Again now i have 2 connections active(1 HD box which is from the exchange and the box which is exchanged:42610368187)

Kindly activate the existing SD Box : 42592048419 and deactivate the exchanged SD Box:42610368187

no screen on tv

my videocon d2h customer I D is 5473008 , after 8 days of installation my tv screen appear blank , but dvd is working , no cable problem , please solve it as soon as possible . thank you.

Asking Extra money

Hi Team,

Yesterday(26/12/12) i have purchased D2H connection from Online, My customer id is 86121275.

Today i got the call from local service station for installation of the device, but they asked extra 250 for installation, for that i have asked i have already paid 300 with the package then why and what for this extra 250, for that they told me that if you what to get installed you need to pay extra 250 then only they will sent men for that.

i refused pay that extra money, but he told that i need to pay extra money and cut the call.

Is this extra 250 authorized by Videocon d2h? then why it is not mentioned in Website? Is this will be the case for all the serive what i will get from Videocon?

I want to my Videocon D2h need to be set properly with proper device(no backside black work for paying extra money) without any extra money

Videocon d2h: nothing worked from the day its activated.. no officals are ready to provide resolution

I have a serious issue with your service.. my cust no is 83801175 and the same is activated on 27th nov. Since then I was not able to watch the television for 1 hour continuously on any given day. I had raised complaints regarding the picture freezing and these were all closed without even giving proper resolution. The complaint details are as below

3 dec – 143815422 – this was closed on 4 dec stating services activated-
4 dec – 143871007 - this was closed on 8 dec stating re-tracking done

both the cases I was left with my initial issue of picture freezing unattended.

There was an issue while activating the services on 27th nov and the eng informed that recording services will be activated in 1-2 hrs time. However the recording was activated only on 4 dec after me reaching out several times to the local authorities and CC

I had several people visiting my place however no one is able to give me solution. I had clearly told initially itself that the set top box needs to be changed as its a hard ware issue. They negated the fact and said that software needs to be updated etc. Secondly, they installed 2 dish for this connection instead of 1. They charged me rs 270 for additional length of wiring which I believe was unnecessary if they had installed 1 dish.This happened on 27th nov

after repeated calls, I get ppl visiting my place from 4th and checking the status and closing my complaints without giving any resolution.Finally mr jagadeesh & mr gutpa visited my residence and performed some software updates and informed that they gonna install 90 cms dish instead of 2 dishes. And informed that this will be done by 1030am on 8th dec. I had clearly informed that I would make myself free for this on saturday morning. No one turns up to my residence till 130pm on saturday even after me doing several calls to jagadeesh.
Some eng guys comes with the bigger dish and installs it at 215pm but he does not have the meter to check the signal strength. One more person comes with meter at 545pm for installation and informs that there is no issue with signal but its more of a hardware issue.

I then speak to mr kiran and mr mallikarjun on sunday 9 dec and they tell me it needs to be replaced and will contact me soon. No one calls me till 11th dec. I try reaching out to mr mallikarjun who responds after several rings and updates me that he will call back in 15 mins. No response till 12pm. I try him and he is not reachable. Same with mr kiran. Then I reach their LL and mr praveen answers the phone and informs that he will call back in 10 mins... no response.. I reach out again at 1230pm and he informs that mr kiran reached me at my mobile several times and I never received any calls !!!!! then he hangs the phone with no reply.....!!!!

this is pathetic since I have been following up with all possible people in your org to get my connection rectified.. I had tata sky and hath way earlier and DID not face any issues ...

I have done numerous calls to get resolution... no response.... it has been more than 15 days that I am not able to use this service even after paying for it.

Even today after sending email to Mr Anand G (nodalofficer.Karnataka) I don't see any response or acknowledgement....this clearly states that no consideration for the customer and resolution even from top officers who are suppose to be resolving issues.

This is informed to you all, I booked Videocon D2H HD exchange offer in online (http://www.videocond2h.com) worth Rs.2190 on 5th Nov.2012 that I furnished the details sent by you. Still I amn't getting anyinformation from you after payment was done. So I called to this number 022-65800300 for knowing about my order status. They didn't respond upto now.Some times I called to this number 022-65800300 to try to know the status they said we will get back to you in 2 mts but still now they didn't. They told we will exchange in 48 hrs so that I realy believed before payment was done.But now I am realy sad about
your performence. So I am telling to everyone in my circle about my experience with videocon
D2H.
Kindly exchange the box or refund my cash. Do anyone from this option .

Pathetic Installation Service

The same problem is with my connection also, I was also promised that my installation would be done yesterday itself and I had bought the connection online in the morning, after that no one bothered to even respond to my emails or phone calls, my customer id 78739110 was generated yesterday @ around 12:00 PM, I got sms my installation to be done within 24 hrs but it's not.

The customer care is clueless of the status, it's just that it will be done, but when they don't know.

It's really a pathetic service, setting up wrong expectations and then not doing things in time. I have emailed the customer care to cancel my account, but no one is responding.

Hi The issue is partially resolved.I have got the exchange processed.but the exchange process is made on wrong SD Box instead of the actual exchanged box.

Hi

My Customer Id is:56134243.
Account No:5581476
Recently i have exchanged my SD Box with the No:42610368187 to HD Box no:42681990323.
However instead of Exchange mode, the Technician has installed the new HD box in New connection mode.The Old STB is also taken back by the Technician as this was an exchange.Hence under my Customer Id Now i have 3 Active connections and the money being deducted every month for the 3 connections.
Actually there are only 2 connections active in my account and i am contacting Customer care twice on daily daily basis to get the issue resolved and get the money for exchange credited to my account.I am getting the same response from customer care representative stating that a request has been forwarded and the issue will be resolved in 24 hours.There has been almost 10 or more requests taken regarding this and i haven't got the resolution for it yet.
As a highlight,on my today's follow up call to customer care,i was asked to email my query to [email protected] and then it will be resolved within 12 hours.
Hence i am forwarding an email to the email address mentioned and hope the issue gets resolved.

The key things to be made to resolve the issue are.
1.Update my Account with the correct 2 STB's that are currently active in my house.Credit the exchange offer money 1200 to my account
2.credit the amount deducted till date for the Virtual STB(exchanged,but still shown as active connection) from 22 August 2012 onwards.

I am expecting that the issue gets resolved at the earliest and i get my money back.

I have attached the screenshot from my account page of VideoconD2h which shows 3 products under my account

Not follow TRAI Recommendation

That's right. Even they sell Satellite TV with blocked STB. I am one the victim as I've purchased a satellite tv of Videocon d2h. When my subscription expires, the tv is useless. If I want to watch FTA channels or even a Doordarshan I need extra STB. Though STB has edit menu to add FTA configuration and test screen allow you to watch FTA channels in setting mode, you just cant store the channels. As they just blocked scanning process of FTA transponders.This is such a pathetic practice, when operators openly do not follow regulations and rule the viewers. TRAI just makes regulations in vain, no one cares.
