Bill data not updated

I have paid my vodafone bill much ahead of due date.Yet,they did not update my payment information.I have got confirmation of my payment from my bank and I also have transaction ID.I have been calling their customer care daily and telling to update but they do nothing.I keep getting smses,emails threatning to disconnect my service.Whenever , I make a call ,I am first told to pay my dues (for 5 mins) and then the call is connected.

Activation of GPRS without settings

Dear Sir,
my complaint is regarding GPRS service of Vodafone. I was using Rs 99 monthly GPRS plan of vodafone till last month. But as I had to visit outside the Mumbai last month, I took Airtel GPRS monthly plan on my Airtel number because Airtel's service is available on roaming also and vodafone service is not available on roaming as told by their customer care deptt and they charge according to per KB usage. I was using both the sim cards alternatively on a single handset (Asus P527 Windows mobile) by changing the vodafone sim with Airtel sim when to use the GPRS. For safety purpose I deleted Vodafone settings (Access point :- portalnmps) and done permanent settings of Airtel (Access point :- airtelgprs.com) on my handset. But on 20th July 2011 night, by mistake I connected my mobile to my computer without changing my vodafone sim card and service started. Within 1 hr, all of my balance, which was around Rs 180 eroded and my balance came to Rs -4 and service terminated. Then I realised that I was using service on Vodafone. My complaint is that with the settings of Airtel how could my Vodafone internet service start with wrong settings or no settings. It was something, which never happened with my handset. This is some system related problem at Vodafone's end. I made several complaints with their customer care no 111 and 198 but they always said that their system is not working or slow and transferred my call to technical department and disconnected it every time. Then I went personally went to Kharghar Vodafone gallery on July 21st evening but they suggested me to go to Vashi gallery as they don’t have the facility to check the problem at their end. My question is that why should I roam from here and there leaving my all other works. At least they should have lodged my complaint but they denied even for that. For their mistakes why should I suffer? Plz make arrangements for refund of my talk time, that is my only demand. Thanking you

vodafone company is deducting balance money from the phone directly by activating services like job alerts, caller tunes etc., without the legal approval of the owner of the phone.

Harresment from the company

I had applied for a name change with Vodafone, had visited the Vodafone store in the month of june, also has submitted a copy of my PAN card, the name change request was Miss Farah S shaikh, I received my bill this month the name updated was Mrs Farah T Shaikh.
I called Vodafone customer care complain help line on #198 on 8th July, morning 8:45
spoke with Hetal , she said she would arrange a call back from the store, which will be done within 24hrs, when asked to transferd to supervisor the call was put on hold, and later disconnected, then called again spoke with sarpavan, same thing repeated again,then spoke to the nodal officer Mr Imran, he also committed a call back form the store, but after 24hr also has not received any call from the Vodafone store.
I again called the Vodafone customer care complain help line on #198 today i.e 9th july, but the same thing repeted no one ready to answer, just keeping on hold.

I HAVE DEPOSITED CHEQUE AT DROP BOX AT DOMBIVLI VODAFONE GALLARY. AFTER 2-3 DAYS I GOT MESSAGE FROM VODAFONE CONTAINING THAT CHEQUE IS BOUNCE . PL MAKE PAYMENT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. THEN I WENT TO THE GALLARY I ASK THEM THE REASON THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS NOT OUR MISTAKE, YOUR PERSON MIGHT HAVE NOT HANDLE IT PROPERLY . QUALITY OF DROP BOX IS ALSO POOR MANY TIMES THIS TYPE OF PROBLE HAVE OCCURE. THE STAFF WAS ALSO NOT BEHAVING VERY WELL .

Harassement

Dear Sir,

This is to inform that I had been using Vodafone number 9819883391 for past 8 years in Mumbai. Since I had been transfered to Delhi I wanted to deactivate my number so proceeded to Vodafone outlet. I visited the outlet on 23rd Oct 2010 for converting my number to prepaid since I did not want to use it. I was advised by one Rupesh that I could retain this number with no extra cost for one year and that I can retain the same number by paying an additional amount of Rs.500/-. I agreed to it and he said hence forth no bill will be generated provided I dont make any calls for which they would charge. Since then I stopped using my number. The confirmation number was given to me as 124792514 & 124819972 dtd.03.11.10. This request was not recorded into their system and they kept generating bill till date. I visited 6 times to the outlet everytime I received the bill towards plan charges which they are not supposed to do it. Every time I vivited the outlet I used to collect the reference number and all the time they landed up saying I am issue will be resolved in 48 hrs. Today 7 months have passed and still I receive the bills. Now they have started harrasing my family over phone by giving bad words. This is not expected by a multinational company like vodafone. The following are the request numbers given to me each and every time I visited the Outlet.

Stop outgoing calls without notice

My number is 9869657651, Vodafone has disconnected my outgoing calls only because my bill has exceeded the total credit limit by Rs 190 (Credit limit is decided by Vodafone). I tried to pay online through my Vodafone, however the bill is not yet generated even after 3 days of my billing cycle. I can not pay without having my bill in my hand. When i contacted customer care they said me to first pay some amount upfront. How can they expect anyone to just pay without even getting a invoice/bill copy? I am ready to pay my bill provided they give me copy of the bill. How can even they disconnect outgoings even when the bill is not yet generated in their system. I am not a defaulter/ blacklisted person to get my outgoing disconnected. This is ridiculous. I would like to know whether i can sue the company for this. Is there any law which allows them to do so? Please help.

fake promotional calls

Hi,

i got a call on 1st june, 2011 @ 12. 21 pm from #91227163800 ( a vodafone representative), she informed me that being a special customer if i recharge with Rs.36 before 12th june,2011i will get talk time of Rs. 50.

i recharge with Rs. 36 arround 1 pm same day. when i checked the balance i recvd only Rs.32/-. i called on 198 and told them the whole case, they accepted the fact and said this amount will be credited in next 4 hrs. again i gave them a call after 5 hrs and repeated the whole story and recd the reply that yes the offer is there for your no. it take 24 hrs.

on next day evening i made a next attemp and they denied abt the promotional call.

one month before also i recd the same callwith different offer.

the amount is not big but they are fooling customer.

Madam,

I am once again inconvenienced by Vodafone.

I have two issues:

Issue No. 1: I am a customer of Vodafone and a subscriber of the USB data-stick bearing the number: 97690-25023. My data services were barred since yesterday morning. You failed to raise the bill for payment and found it convenient to inconvenience me. Please refer the attachment for proof. I am a prompt-paying customer who has never defaulted any payment till date. And I make all payments on or before the due date.

Most of your customer care agents (on-roll or franchise) are idiots who simply advise visiting the Vodafone Store to solve issues (As if I have no other work to do). A repeat call in the evening led to the disclosure that a bill payment was pending which was responsible for disconnection of services.

Is it my fault if Vodafone fails to raise invoice. Why should customers such as myself be penalised for your lapse. For two days I did not have the service. As it is your data speed is slow and I have frequent disconnections. A customer in a developed country would have sued Vodafone for a similar episode demanding heavy damages.

Issue No. 2: On May 05, 2011, at 1600 hrs, I spoke to your agent by the name, Kailash. A request number was issued: 1047-258-334. This was against my request to renew my data-plan by another six months. When I tried confirming the data-plan with the customer care agent half an hour ago, he said he cannot see any data-plan in which I am. In fact, he said, there was no such request number.

Madam, my barber gives better service. Is Vodafone worse than my barber shop?

i am a vodafone customer .i paid my bill well within the due date it also reflects in my passbook .still i was getting reminders and calls from the vodafone service provider i visited vodafone sevice centre at p. m. road fort and prduce my passbook entry .meanwhile i had spoken to ms Pooja from Prabhadevi and SunnySingh from thesame office.Now my mobilservice has been terminated . People should refrain from using vodafone as there are many complaints for this frodulant company

Improper service

Vodafone mobile service provider activated unwanted VF26 and SPL30 services without my request and without prior intimation on may 23 2011 deducting account balance and charging Rs.1 per minute where I had activated 1 Paisa/sec. I called the customer care people on 23 & 24 may 2011. They are not responding me properly. This is really ridiculous. I am not interested in any service and still provider enforcing the services.
Vodafone should credit the deducted amount to my balance amount since it is their fault.

DISCONNECTING OUTGOING CALLS INSPITE OF ECS SERVICE

AND AS USUAL VODAFONE FEELS THAT THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE THIEVES - THEY WILL NOT PAY MONEY AND RUN AWAY - SO THEY START HARASSING BY MAKING PHONE CALLS AND SENDING SMS'S ABOUT BILL REMINDER'S EVERYDAY

THEY HAVE HIRED GUFOONS IN THEIR CUSTOMER CARE WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY TALK OR WHAT THEY ARE PROMISING THEIR CUSTOMERS - ALL MY CONVERSATIONS WITH THEIR CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVES HAVE BEEN HORRIBLE BECAUSE THEY MAKE YOU WAIT FOR 154 MINUTES FOR EVERY QUESTION YOU ASK THEM - ONE VODAFONE CALL RESULTS FOR 1 HOUR AND YOUR PROBLEM IS NOT EVEN SOLVED

Services Issue

Hi Team,

This is with regret to inform you that again, now its proven that you people really dont care about your customers.

Last time I had complaint about MNP from vodafone and did not got any reply from anyone and finally after 15 calls to customer I got a complaint registered.

What happened after that was your customer care called on 12-May-2011 for retention from No.02271638056. and after discussion with the retention person I agreed on one plan.

Below is the plan. - Complaint No. provided by Retention person - 199110748
Local calls to any - 0.30
STD calls to any - 0.50
200 local mins free
200 National min free
400 local sms free
Rs 51/- rental 1000 local and national sms.
Roam like home service.

The same was promised to get activated in next 72 Hrs, today I got a confirmation msg of the new plan activation but after checking the same found that it was something different than
promised.

This is what your people do they dont care about your customer.

After this when I call customer care on 15-May-2011, he confirms that no such request no. exist in the system, when asked then how the plan got activated he replied,
Andromeda a Third party had called me whom you have outsourced and the plan which has got activated is against request no. 1050137492 which was never requested.

After the customer care person spoke to you backend department he replied they too dont have any such information, I asked to take a complaint but he replied that he cant and I need to
call Andromeda for the same.

Now the question is if I am a customer of Vodafone why the hell I need to call a third party of Vodafone, and What the hell I am concerned with them.

without any information they have cut my balance of Rs 50/-. When i talk to their persons they told me i send sms for different services. but never send any sms to them. They are intentionally cutting the amount for their profit and given wrong answers. kindly stop their service in india and stop their dadagiri. my mob no. is 8007648615.
