Unusual Power cuts

Living in Kamarbarh village near Kelomal Basic training college is like hell.. under the tamluk sub-division power supply , we are not getting electricity even without storms and wind.

As if we are not paying for the electricity we are using. Many times we tried complaining in the office itself . They are not even listening.
Help us.. we need help badly .

Low voltage 170-180volt

Sir ,
we the residents of puratan bdr rail gate , shyamdaspur near fly over bankura are writing you to bring your kind attention to the seniour electricity problems in our area.
The problem we are the victims of is explained below in short
1. Extreme low voltage
2. Too much voltage fluctuations every days night ,which may demage our costly electrical instruments.
3. In the night time problem is even worst,there is often no power or too low voltage to operate fan, tv, ac or sometimes even clf blubs.
Give the step fluctuation in power supply it has deleterious effect on electric and electronic goods, several consumers have in the past contacted the electricity department and complained about the voltage but on action has been taken as on date.
Eagerly waiting to see quick and concrete action on this statement

Abnormal high bill & Meter Disturbance

Abnormal Bill and Meter issue(Meter Disturbance)
I have complain several time from 02/06/2018 till date regarding meter issue but no result get till date. And last two time received bill as average of last year bill but this month we receive an abnormal bill amount Rs. 4971/-- this is a mysterious to us as last 2 bills came Rs. 337/- to Rs. 400/- aprox.

Powercut

Sir/Madam
It felt sad to inform You that, We the Citizens of Jagatpur, Chandiberia Under Newtown P.S. of North 24parganas, is suffering from Huge Loadshedding(Powercut) everyday,
People use to walk around the Roads & their Rooftop at Night, rather Sleeping peacefully after a whole lot of work for full day..
Whereas we the Consumers of WBSEDCL donot have any 24hrs helpdesk to exchange information.
Sir/Madam We being a Responsible citizens pay our Bill on time & expect some Better services in return..
But half of our nights passes looking at the Fan or AC's to get on to work & go for some Rest..

Is their any solution for this Worst & Unexpected service???

Power cuts without any valid reason

Living in this area under electric supply of tamluk subdivision is like hell.. every single time day night power cut , low voltage without any valid reasons..
Many times we tried to put up complains , but shameless people of tamluk supply office doesn't care..
That's why I am complaining here.. cz customer care services are always busy and interrupted

Power Cuts

I am a resident of 81/B Jaihind Pally, Barrackpore, Kol-122. Few days before we had power cuts in our area for 8-10 hours (for 3-4 days) because electricity people were working on changing wires. That's okay that they were working as per orders but they created a mess here. The phone and cable wires were hanging in front of the gates. They straight away refused to fix that. What a pathetic service. After that, we are having regular power cuts in our area where it was not the case before. I understand there is so much of electricity consumption in summers and power cut for 1-2 hours is acceptable at a proper time. But the power cust is happening in late night after 11.30 PM which is strange. Yesterday there was no power for the entire night. It came for 10 mins and again gone off. It happened multiple times. The weather was also all good. This is really frustrating and not acceptable. If they cut the power for 1 hour in the morning and then again 1 hour in the evening makes all sense. Please look into this matter as we have children and elderly people at home and we would also like to know the genuine reasons of these power cuts because it is not acceptable in any circumstances.

DUPLICATE BILLS

Dear Sir ,
With reference to the above and my consumer id no 132138402 and installation no 11020250 and meter no SF504917 in the name of AMRITA KELARKAR Please note that our electric bill file is spoiled due to rain and bill from November 2014 - april 2017 is damaged . We have approached your local office to revive the duplicate bills and were asked to do it our self online from your website as they cannot help us from branch we tried doing it online but as the payments were made in cash the details were not available online or maybe we failed to do it being a new user . Now Sir , I am a senior citizen and I am unable to visit your branch again and again so I am requesting your goodself to kindly send me the duplicate bills for the above mentioned period over mail or send us a mail granting your branch to issue us a duplicate bill for the period which is urgently required for filing purpose , we are ready to pay the charges if any for the same but it is my earnest request to help me in the matter . If not please guide us over phone/mail on how to revive the same .

unexpectedly high electricity bill without meter reading

Respected Sir,

We have received unexpectedly high electricity bill this month.
As door was locked, without reading meter your employee has given a wrong bill to our neighbor. Only one member stays in the entire house.Our average electricity bill for each month is 300 to 400 rupee, but this month we got bill of rs 3895 for next 3 months.
After looking in to bill we visited to our local current office.Without looking in to the matter and without taking the meter reading, they are directly saying to pay rs 3895.
We have given an application with a proper explanation on this but still they are not responding to our issue.We have not even received any application copy.They are not taking the matter seriously and asking us to pay huge amount of rupees 3895/-. Please find attachment for the bill copy.
I am requesting you to please look in to the matter and give appropriate bill in case door locked. So that we can pay appropriate amount.

EXCESS METER READING

I DIPTI BISWAS RESIDING IN DHANKAL DEFENCE COLONY 24 PGS(N) HAVING WBSEDCL CON.NO. 155083607 IN MY HUSBAND'S NAME . I WAS NOT MY HOME AS I AM IN BANGALORE IN MY DAUGHTERS HOUSE AS SHE WAS PREGNANT AND DELIVERED A SON ON 24 TH APRIL. DURING THIS PERIOD ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT SENT A PERSON TO COLLECT THE METER READING AND DISPATCH THE BILL WHERE THEY HAVE CHARGED ME 634 UNITS BILL WHICH I HAVEN'T CONSUMED. I TALK TO THE DEPARTMENT TODAY THEY R TELLING ME THAT I HAVE TO PAY THE BILL WHICH IS CATEGORIZED AS
FIRST 102 UNITS @5.26=533.46 +NEXT 78 UNITS @5.86457.08 + NEXT 120 UNITS @6.73 = 807.60 + NEXT 300 UNITS @ 7.23 = 2169 + NEXT 34 UNITS @7.32 = 248.88 = 4219 +45 + 145.82 - 545(GOVT. SUBSIDY) = 3894.90

NOW MY QUESTION THEY WILL ADJUST MY BILL IN SUBSEQUENT MONTH AS PER READING UNITS( 9029 UNITS -8497 UNITS= 532 UNITS ) IN MY NEXT BILL BUT I HAVE TO PAY UNIT RATE @5.26 BUT ON AN AVERAGE I HAD PAID THE @7/- PER UNIT WHO WILL PAY THE DIFFERENCE.

Bye the bye I let you know the transmitter installed when I was a student studying in Kolkata in the year 2004 and now I am working at Purulia District.

WBSEDCL negligence in work

Hi

My consumer id is 123062195 and my local supply office is in krishnapur bidhan nagar. I am writing this email to inform you that people sitting in the local branch are of no help to the consumer. They treat us as if we are there slaves. Whenever we face any issue with the power cut or any other issue we have tried going to the office asking for help and they strictly deny to do the needful. Also my point is why do they have a phone in the office is it only for there personal usage because if you try calling up the number they are least bothered to answer the phone. I wonder if it is 2018 or it is in 1990 that we are living. Why can't the government recruit some good and hard working people instead of having such laid back old people who don't do there work properly and neither do they let others work as well. For the last 3 days we are facing the problem of power cut during the afternoon for 3 - 4 hours

voltage

Avarage voltage in our area from 6:30pm to 10:00pm is 80 to 130 @ same time mins its not stabluise alwse up and down for every sec. I lost 3 mobile price around 50000. One laptop of 35000 and also my tv cost 23000 who paid this ... Get an action and in our village around 500 mobile charger dead with in one month. We all gave a complain ahenest castomar forum with in 15 days if you not any action....
